Finally made it to dockside diner and it was not a disappointment! Super friendly staff and great food. I tried the avocado toast and the sailor omelette- both 10/10. Can’t wait to go back to try lunch or dinner.

Loved this place. Just what we needed after a long beach day. All of us loved our orders, and a great deal. Super friendly service, too. Highly recommended.

Nice cozy little diner. Service was cheerful and pleasant. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I have to eat gluten free and our Ethan (our waiter) doubled checked with the chef to make sure my dinner was gluten free. I got the chicken stew with rice and beans it was definitely homemade and delicious. My wife got the squash ravioli in a sage and brown butter sauce. She said it was very light, fresh, and out of this world. My Mother-in-law got the coconut shrimp that she said that they were just perfect.

The omelette was a bit on the expensive side and the pancakes tasted too floury. Otherwise was enjoyable

So disappointed. I saw the great reviews and the pics and had high expectations. I ordered the “old world style” hash, a large “fresh squeezed” OJ, scrambled eggs with a side of bacon and hash browns. The orange juice was not freshly squeezed and came from the typical concentrate machine, the hash was not old world style – which I would have thought meant home made, it was straight from the can, yuck…. The hash browns were soft and cooked but not crispy at all like all the pictures here show, almost like they were microwaved them, tasted ok, the bacon was cooked perfect, the eggs were also cooked perfect and they were generous on the portion of egg- more like 3-4 eggs. The rye toast was also cooked perfect and nicely buttered. The server was very attentive despite being very busy and clearly understaffed. She was hopping and got a nice tip for her efforts!

What a hidden gem this place is! The diner overlooks the bay and dock, there are fresh veggies growing that must be used in their dishes. From outside the appearance is deceiving, it’s cute an unassuming, inside it is light bright and absolutely inviting!

As usual, everything was great. An awesome tradition. Glad they added more hours. Very busy but not usually a very long wait. More outdoor seating was a great idea. Nice staff and wonderful traditional foods.

It’s a special little place for down to earth people. I only had the fish tacos & homemade iced tea…just what I needed & enjoyed. Loved the people…caring enough to be helping (my brief time, there), to be enjoyable. The building has history; so, be kind…and you may be surprised by the same …kind. Thank you.

Familiar with the LBI dining all my life and I must say this place is the best on the island ️ for breakfast lunch and dinner. The island is filled with many fancier places with lesser quality, underwhelming food at higher prices. Dockside beats them all don’t miss it.
