We went here for the first time tonight.

Went there with some friends. This was my first visit. They told me that it was an ‘ok’ place to eat so I didn’t expect much but we ALL really enjoyed it. Out waitress is new to OKla and she was a real sweetheart. Everyone enjoyed their food. I’m vegan so I was only able to order the baked potato and a small dinner salad but both were yummy. The food came fairly quickly and the servings were large. Prices fair. My hubby indulged in the cookie with ice cream skillet and said it was super yummy. The atmosphere was nice. Sort of a home cooking kinda vibe. We all agreed that we would come again next time we were in town.

Service was friendly and atmosphere had a cozy, country diner feel. Food left some room to be desired. I am happy for those that left 5 star reviews and love the place. But bless their hearts, they need to get out more.

If you want some down home cooking this is the place for you. It’s like what you would want to cook at home, but won’t take the time to do it. I should have stopped at the entree, but I capped it off with some cobbler. Large portion on the onion rings. The Chicken parmesan was huge. Meatloaf was sold out, but the at another table said it was great. I settled for the chicken fried steak. I know a lot of people do that, but it was fresh made and covered in gravy so I really enjoyed it. My wife shared some catfish and have to say it was perfectly breaded, fluffy and lightly seasoned. Seasoning wasn’t the standard bag mix and they make their own tarter sauce. A do recommend the green beans, so tasty. Great service and won’t break the pocket book. Great find!

Wow! Excellent place. Food was amazing, service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was – well, cozy. Had the chicken fried steak, (the size of the platter), white cream gravy was well-seasoned and delicious, okra was lightly battered and tender, baked beans were tangy with a smooth BBQ flavor, bread reminded me of the rolls from Colton’s steakhouse. Chips and salsa appetizer is very good. Prices were average for a Saturday night. Place was packed – always a good sign.

SUPER friendly staff. Clean. Loved the tables and chairs; very well-built and roomy. The food is making me drool thinking of it. My burger was one of the best I’ve had, and the fries I didn’t wanna stop eating. My husband got the PB pie, and it was worth every calorie. I got the blackberry cobbler with a perfectly soft yet firm, flavorful crust. Already recommended this place to my friends who visit this area.
