Our cashier was so polite and kind. We came in 30 minutes before closing and were able to get turkey wing dinner with 3 sides(macaroni&cheese, sweet potatoes, and turkey rice).I have never had turkey rice in my life, and I’m almost upset. My baby boy and my husband loved it so much they almost left me none. It came with cornbread. My husband ordered FALL OFF THE BONE ribs with 2 sides(cabbage and sweet potatoes). We ordered sweet potato pie and banana pudding for dessert, and we ordered lemonade and fruit punch for our meals. Everything was amazing. Any time we are in Summerville, we will be stopping through. It is also worth the drive. Thank you for the amazing service.

A Family owned business that puts love into everything they cook. This restaurant was recommended to us when traveling through. So Glad we stopped. The ribs yams and cabbage were wonderful and the tea was as sweet as southern tea should be! Definitely a must if you love food good for the soul

Got there just as they opened. Porkchop was amazing. Fries were good. Mac left a little to be desired but it didn’t taste fresh but no reason not to go again. That beef stew….my god. I’d go back just for that on a cold day. Go see them. You will not regret it.

Extremely friendly staff and owner! I was unsure about the greens and the owner let me sample them before getting them. I had a bad experience with some downtown with a top restaurant. Greens should not be sweet I’m sorry. DJs were very savory and flavorful. Everything was. They even have gator bites! Many things cooked to order. This place will not disappoint for southern cooking.

First time eating here. We did a online take out order for 5 people. Our order was correct and ready within 15 to 20 minutes. (About the time it took to get there from our house). It was a very friendly/family like environment inside the restaurant. Excellent service. The food was awesome and a true southern style dinner. WE WILL BE GOING BACK!!

Was my first time visiting from Columbia. I had the baked chicken, Mac and cheese with collard greens. I also got banana pudding and a slice of pound cake. My boyfriend had the fried pork chop with Mac and cheese and collard greens. Everything was seasoned well.

The gator bites and Mac were off the chain. It was a pleasant experience to say the least. They actually gave me the mac n cheese instead of fries too. Unbelievable. And the gator bite sauce was definitely a winner!
