Food is fantastic, always tastes fresh and delicious. Beats Smokin’ Als by a long shot… Give it a try, its worth the trip. Dont forget the Burnt Ends and the Mega Beef ribs!

Started with some Burnt Ends and Fried Pickles, overall pretty tasty, no complaints there. Went for the Catfish Platter but was disappointed. Just not particularly flavorful. Sides kinda had the same issue, Sweet Potato fries are a personal favorite and they were just very eh.

Overall very good. Pulled pork and ribs were excellent along with the collard greens and cornbread. Chicken was a bit dry mac and cheese needs so.e improvement. Baked beans were fantastic along with the friendly service. Nice bar inside.

We made reservations for 15 on a Sunday evening at 8pm. When we got there, they were empty except for us. That should have been a clue. The food wasn’t terrible, however the service was. While the waitress agreed to split the check (we asked what would be easiest), she later told us she couldn’t. The food was ordered all at the same time, but was brought out in waves, taking 20 minutes from the first to the last dish. We understand if they’re not setup to handle 15 orders at once, but they should have said something before we had to wait to eat until everyone was served. The drink orders didn’t even come out together – my son waited waited 15 minutes to get a Sprite. And my Iced Tea could have been cold-brewed in the time it took to come out.

A little difficult to find this place as its not visible from the street; turn into the parking lot of the hardware store: it’s immediately behind it. The food is good; wouldn’t rate it as spectacular but good and decent. Brisket was nicely done; good tender ribs. The andouille sausage was a disappointment.

Note, Google shows this review as a “Year Ago” when it is in fact more than 2 years old as of June 2018.

Excellent beef rib, and brisket. Would come again for that. Both the rib and brisket were moist and tasty. Ordered without BBQ sauce and added it ourselves. Gave four stars because the Pulled Pork, was dry and overly saucy. Saint. Louis Ribs pretty moist. Definite return visit.

Ordered Over the Top Nachos w/ Chicken, BBQ chicken sandwich, and lone star pulled pork. The nachos, which I believe were $10.99 + $2 for chicken, were severely overcooked and dried out. Was a complete waste of money but it was already 9pm and I didn’t feel like going back for a new tray. The sandwich were OK. Have eaten there before with hit or miss performances. Some of their BBQ stuff is amazing, though. But this last experience was very disappointing to get home to see a $13 tray of chicken nachos that were terrible. In case Dixie’s wants to make this right… ticket # 106, Order # 178676.

We ordered 60-piece chicken wings on December 21 in advance for December 24th, thinking that there would be a Christmas Eve “rush.” My wife called on the 23rd to confirm the order and yes, they had the order and it would be ready at 4:30pm for pickup.

I’ll give it 3 stars because the brisket was chewy. I believe it’s just a “glitch” so I’ll be back for an update on that. Our server, Alicia, was great. The food tastes great. And the price is right.
