This place was so nostalgic! It’s like an old fashioned malt stand from my childhood living in the south. Burgers, shakes, sno cones, etc. I really like that the orders are cooked fresh, so please be prepared for a short wait time, BUT, it worth the wait!

I was told I should go here by the hotel desk clerk. Not a good choice. I ordered wings and a cheeseburger. Wings were sloppy and not thoroughly cooked. Cheeseburger wasn’t bad – but – I went back to go ask for some lettuce and looked inside the front window – I don’t think they would pass a health inspection. Didn’t finish my food.

The cashier is TERRIBLE! She is extremely rude. They charged us $5 to split wing flavor without telling us and when we asked for a receipt she snapped at us and said “we aint got no receipts” and closed the window. AND they didn’t even have ice cream.

Hands down one of the best home style burgers in town with a varied and unique menu. Grilled cheese with extra pickles or a fried fish plate, anyone? But, cleanliness leaves much to be desired. The true old school definition of a “greasy spoon”. But that’s what we’ve got immune systems for.

I asked for a 10 pc season wing combo n I ended up with a fish combo then what ever I paid for was high and the cashier had an attitude. No line and my food still took 30 minutes to come out. I should’ve paid attention to the signs and kept my money.

I drove into this establishment to get a burger on my lunch break because I was traveling for work. I noticed the age of the building. And that the parking lot could use some work. I placed my order at the window and I could visibly see a raid bottle on top of a fridge I knew then that the burger would slap and it certainly did.

Sad to say, I don’t know where to start. After asking around about an after-hours restaurant, which this places shows its open 24 hrs, I decided to try it. I made it in line a little before 12am. I was given a big surprise.about 20-30mibs later, still in line, a young man came out talk alot. Then he started taking out trash, a young female showed up and helped. My ears twitched, eyes got big when I heard him say some words that basically was saying he is ready to roll me a blunt. Many of you pretty much know what that means. Finally, the three cars before me and myself finally was able to place an order at about 12:46. Something told me a problem was about to happen because that young man had a car radio turnt up so loud. He then asked the a customer that was in line to move his car. A few minutes later the young man was not heard of or seen. I ordered just in time. Customer service started the cars that pulled up, The store’s cook was no longer available. Untullbhe cook went MIA. I was the last one to comment order until one

Long lines, because the food is great. Who needs over the top friendly service when your food is hot and your order is correct. That’s Dixie Queen.
