The quality of the food was way below par, browning lettuce, extra cripsy overcooked burger. I could have burn my own food and used old products myself. Unfortunately this is the time and era we live in. Customer service is a thing of the past, and when the cook doesn’t care what they serve. It usually means they don’t care about anything especially others.

I ordered the nachos w/no meat. Absolutely fabulous, filling, & yummy! My husband & I shared the cheese sticks which were alright. My husband ordered a corn dog that was like the size of the ones you get at the fair. He also ordered the chili cheese french fries & they don’t put onions in their chili–yay! We ordered water & Dr. Pepper & the cups were huge & we got free refills. Can’t wait to go back & try something different next time. It’s a quaint little restaurant. Very neat & clean.

I really like Dixie Dog. Its just simple concession stand/Fair food. It’s very cheap to eat here and pretty good. I usually choose the daily special when visiting. Great place for when have that hunger for something from a “Gut truck”.

This place use to be on 42nd & Ave H when I was growing up. They said it had the original kitchen but the other one had a place inside to eat but this one does. I try their Dixie Dogs they was good, but didn’t really taste like a Corn Dog. But the service and the people was nice and it was nice & clean..

We drove from Lubbock to Idalou to check out this place! We ate at the little picnic table. The whole family dug in immediately with lots of ohhhhs and ummmms. My son had the chili dog with homemade chili and he scarfed it down before we could even start eating our meals. He loved it. My husband raved about the burger. The bacon was so crispy and it was delicious. The chicken strip basket was good. I had onion rings which were so delicious. They have a fun drink called a pink panther that we all enjoyed. The boys really loved it! We can’t wait to go back again to try something new!

Best burger joint in the area! Corn dogs are still made the old way, not pulled from a box in the freezer, and their onion rings are amazing! I still have a lot to try still, but soo far, I have not been disappointed with anythIng I have ordered

♥️♥️♥️ On my way back from picking up something I ordered online in Wolfforth, I decided to stop & try this little drive-in. Oh my…. It was so fresh & delicious! I was so impressed, I’m taking my parents there next week! I have heard multiple stories from my elderly mom over the years about the “Dixie Dog” that used to be in Spur, Texas. The one in Wolfforth surpassed my expectation!
