My friend and I stopped during Happy Hour on a Thursday evening. The patio had a beautiful fire going for a wonderful ambiance. We didn’t sit outside but maybe next time we will try the patio. We both ordered a chocolate espresso martini they were delicious. We then shared the large sized portion of the pot roast nachos, AMAZING! At the end of our meal I ordered the flourless chocolate cake and my friend had a glass of red wine both were just what we wanted. The waitress was attentive and pleasant, the atmosphere was calming with dimmed lighting, the restaurant was clean as was the women’s bathroom. The prices were a bit high depending on your usual Thursday night eating budget but fair for this type of restaurant. I would definitely go back to this restaurant.

My husband and I had reservations for 7pm on 5/19. It was a challenge finding parking so after we found a spot, my husband called the restaurant to let them know we would be 5 minutes late. When we arrived, there was no tables inside available. We were asked if we wanted to sit on the heated patio. Since it was windy, we declined. 45 minutes later after waiting at the bar my husband checked with the hostess to see how much longer. Another 10 minutes passed before we were seated.

To start off, our Server Jason was incredible. He was personable and very knowledgeable. Food was spot on. My pork chop was perfectly cooked, very juicy. You have to try the bread and the deviled eggs. My wife got the jumbo shrimp fried rice and raved about it, but warning it is very spicy. The flourless chocolate cake was a perfect ending to the meal.

One of my parents’ favorite places when they come to visit. The food is great, especially the sushi. But we went tonight for my dad’s birthday and when I mentioned it to the server, she immediately tried to sell us the most expensive things on the menu and it was blatantly obvious. When we were eating our appetizer, she was hovering in a kind of creepy way, trying to get us to place our dinner order and not letting us enjoy what we were eating. Before we even got our entrées, she poured out the entire bottle of wine into our glasses in an effort to get us to order another bottle, and ended up giving my mom a huge pour. My mom isn’t a big drinker and it also left my dad with less of the bottle than anyone else. We ordered a second appetizer and she disappeared without giving us new plates after the first ones were cleared. And when she was clearing dinner plates off the table, she was stacking them all in front of us on the table, kind of making a mess. If you’re going to clear plates without a tray, take what you can immediately carry and come back for the others (I was a server in my college days). When she realized that we weren’t going to be a super expensive table, it seemed like she was almost rushing us, clearing the dinner plates before my dad was done. When she reached over to get my mom’s plate, I saw her sleeve go in my dad’s fish. Open-handed service!

I don’t have a particular problem with Ditka’s, I just don’t find their food particularly special especially for the price you pay. The atmosphere is very formal. And similar to many formal places, pop is sold by the cans. It just seems like they are essentially serving what is casual fine dining food for formal fine dining prices. Wheaton has a lot of awesome restaurants and coming here wouldn’t be my first choice next time.

Really enjoyed our recent trip to Ditka’s Grill, it’s a more unique menu from the traditional Ditka’s Steakhouse. Solid sushi but might’ve been missing something, hence the 4 stars. old fashioneds were well balanced and delicious. Steakhouse burger was outstanding! And the Maryland crab soup was very similar to a minestrone with a healthy dose of crab. Our server Jason was outstanding. Extremely personable, made you feel welcomed and comfortable and made some great recommendations. Hope to have him again on our next trip! Really good spot for a nice dinner that doesn’t break the bank.

Been going to this location since the grand opening. Food is always good. Lately, I’ve been sitting at the bar to eat and watch sports. Bobby is a superb bartender. He’s efficient, he’s friendly and he knows when to interact and when to allow the guests to enjoy their own space. Management: He’s a keeper!

So our dinner was a disaster! My daughter took me for a late Mother’s Day celebration dinner. After 2 hours of sitting there we still had not eaten.

The vibe was good. But they served soda in a can, aka no refills. just not ok for a fine dining. The Service was good. A Little pricey for what you got.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about tonight’s experience at Ditka’s Grill. I called ahead on the reservation to ensure my mom’s birthday was very special, and the staff delivered above and beyond! HUGE thanks to Neil who took the time to listen and ensure my mom would receive a special decorated birthday dessert, Jason our server, who could not have taken better care of us, giving us EXCELLENT and SUPERB service, and the staff who wished my mom a Happy Birthday, and chef! My mom was made to feel incredibly special. The food and cocktails were incredible, and the entire experience will forever be remembered and cherished! We will be back !! Thank You Ditka’s and Jason!!!
