It was our first time here and the staff was super friendly and explained everything about their menu. We placed our order and soon after received our delicious meal. My wife and I shared the BBQ Platter, which is meant for two people. The platter came with pulled pork, tri tip, brisket, two rolls, hush puppies, and we chose Mac and cheese and potato salad as our two sides. They gave us an apple BBQ sauce for the pulled pork and their original bbq sauce for everything else, however, EVERYTHING was delicious. Hands down, my favorite BBQ in all of Yuma.

Fantastic hidden gem on the 95 heading to Yuma Proving Grounds. Ate here for the first time while I was in town and it was fantastic. I’m definitely coming back to try other plates. I had the sloppy bowl with Mac and cheese with brisket meat. Free sweet tea with every meal and a little gift store next to the dining area. Lots of parking and seating for families.

Nestled on the shoulder of Arizona’s historic State Route 95 is this quaint rustic restaurant and boutique. As you’re walking towards the entrance you can smell the barbecue.

This place is very much worth the price and the drive especially if you’re coming from the outdoor range. There’s no better way to cap off a day of shooting than filling up on high quality barbeque meat. The Cubano I had was absolutely packed with cheese and delicious juicy pork. The only blemish on an otherwise phenomenal sandwich is that the pickles were unbearably salty, as was the pulled pork my friend ordered. We brought this up to the owner and he was super cool about it, he said he’d adjust the salt in the vinegar for the pork, start using different pickles, and even offered us an extra pound of the pork without the spiced vinegar wash. So I predict that by the time this review goes up, my one complaint will be obsolete. Even with the pickles from a supersaturated saline solution, I still ate the whole thing, thoroughly enjoyed it, and i will doubtlessly be coming back eventually.

Would have never found this place without Harvest Hosts, but glad we did. The entrance is a little rough, as others have said, but we got our Class A in no problem. A bonus is the barbecue is awesome! Also, very dog friendly.

Absolutely delicious! Definitely my favorite BBQ spot. I can’t get enough of the fried okra! The absolute BEST fried okra I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The meats are so tender and delicious, it just melts in my mouth. The sauce they provide with the pulled pork is just delish! And the staff treats you like they’ve known you for years, so friendly and welcoming! 10/10

Lots of atmosphere, lots of seating although they say nit gets really busy. We didn’t eat anything as we were just site seeing. Reasonably priced merchandise.

Worth the drive! This is the perfect off the beaten path destination. I still cant believe that i had the place to myself! The 1/2 pound of pulled pork was melt in your mouth savory goodness, the fried okra delicately battered and lovingly fried, and Mexican mango soda a perfect accompaniment. If you’re a rock hound, chef Robert might even let you in on some of his secret places. There’s a gorgeous courtyard here too. Make the trip!!!!!

Rustic Americana at it’s best, with many rooms to check out.I haven’t tried it but the bbq is supposed to be THAT good. I can vouch for the ice cream date shakes, they’re amazing.
