Dino’s is not huge, but it’s a nice space. We have ordered take out from here a handful of times and this was my first time inside. We went for lunch on a Saturday and it wasn’t busy at all (feels like more of a dinner joint). The server was super nice, made sure our water stayed full and had our food out timely.

Went here because of all the good reviews and they did not disappoint. Never knew des moine had the best sea food nachos in the world but it does. Server recommended the chicken entree and it was excellent. Small space so get a reservation. I will definitely be going back!

5 Stars!!! This place is FANTASTIC! I dream about the Chicken and Mushroom pasta. The cheese curds were lightly battered and sheer perfection. Salads came on chilled plates. I opted for a lemon/lavender creme brulee. That combination would terrify me anywhere else, but this chef/owner cooks all of the dishes and doesn’t under or over season anything, so I knew I was safe and lemme tell you…… MIND BLOWN!!! My husband always gets the bananas foster, and raves about it.

I have honestly had better Italian food out of vending machines in Japan. Small dish with no sauce and unevenly cooked. You can get better Italian food from a can. Fire the cooks and get 1 good one from out of state. Sorry this place is a joke and the great reviews have to be from people they know or people on heavy drugs. Chef Boyardee makes better italian food. It is a joke to serve pita bread at a Italian restaurant.

Excellent service, clean and friendly environment. The food wasn’t giving exceptional. To be fair I only ordered a soup and salad but my husband had the spicy sausage sandwich. He gave it a 7 out of 10. Otherwise it wasn’t enough to make us want to come back and try an entree or anything else on the menu. My soup and salad was good but very basic, the same you could get anywhere else in Des Moines. We did order curds for our appetizer and they were good. The “we have to come back” experience just wasn’t there for us.

Stopped in to Dino’s during happy hour and was pleasantly surprised to have an amazing vodka martini for $5 and very good wings 1/2 off. The bartender was super sweet and just made my day! I will absolutely be back!

We made a reservation online about one hour prior. It was quick and easy. There was a sandwich board sign outside with a Pepsi advertisement but they had Coke on their menu. Disappointing!
