One of my favorite spots in Durant to eat. The daily comfort food specials are always delicious and I love the unique items they throw into the mix! They keep it interesting always. From the hot meals, salads, or sandwiches there is something for everyone. Their desserts are incredibly yummy and they have the worlds best sugar cookie actually all the cookies are incredible. With a friendly staff and a comfortable lunch environment you cannot go wrong. They have take home freezer meals that are excellent for a handy dinner as well!

I ate here for lunch today for the time and it was so good. I got the sandwich sampler with 4 different sandwiches that were all great. Plus the jalapeño macaroni was to die for! Highly recommend this local restaurant.

I love their baked potatoes that they have on Fridays! I havent tried much of their other food but I’m sure it is great as well!

My sister and I drove from Oklahoma City to Durant specifically to go to Dining Around and get some freezer meals to take home. We loaded up and ate lunch while we were there. The chicken salad is fantastic! When I got home I fixed the pork chop, loaded mashed potatoes and creamy dreamy corn dinner. It was delicious!! I had a brownie for dessert, which is out of this world!! All of their food is freshly made. The chefs are the best in town!!

I’ve been in Durant for 3 years and have seen this place every time I go to Pruetts but today 7/14/22 was the first time I’ve had time to actually order something from them. Oh my goodness! What a hidden gem! I had the Chicken Cakes, Hashbrown Casserole and Watermelon Salad. It was all exceptional. To those who have mentioned the prices, they are a little more than McDonald’s or Burger King but the food is exceptional, much better than fast food and the portions are large, I saved half my lunch for my dinner tonight or my lunch tomorrow. This menu is next level and I’m glad to know we have such a wonderful place in Durant that serves quality and delicious food!
