I’ve been to DiMaggio Cafe 4 or 5 times. I love the fact you can get a great meal from a restaurant owned by a family that puts their heart and soul into the business. As a business owner myself I can appreciate the effort involved. If you want to take a break from corporate owned restaurants and get a wonderful meal at the same time give DiMaggio’s a try. (Don’t forget to try their house made wine , Vin 312!)

The service was so slow. The place isn’t that big and there were two servers. One server was new. The staff didn’t seem to be helping each other out. If they did maybe we would have gotten our food in time for it still to be hot/warm. Our server never asked us if we wanted another glass of wine and we asked more than once for refills on water that never came. We didn’t even bother with dessert because we waited 45 minutes after we were done eating to get our check after asking several times and several staff members.

The food, service and atmosphere were excellent! Loved everything we had…arancini, baked clams, Sicilian salad, grilled octopus, limoncello mascarpone cake and cappuccino. Even bought a bottle of their homemade balsamic vinegar it was so good!!!

Love this place.. the inside looks like the scene from The Godfather. Place is small and cozy and the food is wonderful and please don’t forget to get a cappuccino at the end of your dinner. I love this place

No kids menu. When I asked, they looked at me like I had a third leg. I asked if they have Chicago-style pizza since it’s a Pizzeria, and they again looked at me like I had a third leg. We ordered the only style of pizza they had, and it was dry, overcooked, and lacked flavor.

After going here for 15yrs, I won’t be back. Every plate was served cold. It took us 20 minutes after being served food to get silverware. The place is lucky to have maybe 8 tables. So I don’t understand how you can walk ten feet from the kitchen and serve cold food. Asked 3 different people for food boxes and the check. After 45 minutes of waiting, we had to go up and get the check ourselves. Worst restaurant experience ever. Very upset that I have to remove this place from being a regular stop.
