During quarantine days when all the dim-sum restaurants were closed, I was missing fresh and quality dim sum. Dim Sum House opened up shop and when I got to try it, I was so surprised by the quality of their takeout dim sum! Everything was steamed upon order and held up well during my ~30 minute ride home.

No frills. And no frills. Doesn’t seem fresh made. Almost seems like a larger frozen product and half to 3/4 size of other places in Fremont and others. Next time, I will drive the extra 15 min to get better quality. Simple counter and dangerous parking in front, not sure if there is better parking on the side.

I ordered through a food service app for lunch this past Friday on a whim, and I’m glad I did! The food was so yummy! Sticky buns, pork buns, their Chinese sausage too. Everything was tasty and well cooked. So flavorful, and I enjoyed it! Will be going here often.

After experiencing a miserable lack of dimsum during the pandemic and bummed to find that many places have raised prices since, I was thrilled to find this little joint selling actually affordable, freshly-made dimsum goodies! I’ve now been a couple of times for snacks and lunches, and have a decent understanding of their operations.

I called and ordered several items as showed in one of my pictures. I still needed to wait when I got there, as other people were waiting in the small restaurant. It also has very limited street parking spaces. To-Go dim sum were relatively cheap and taste okay compared to other Chinese restaurants nearby. The restaurant needs to be more organized (e.g. division of labor, who is working on which order), so that customers can get their orders faster (20 minutes are too long).

Price is fair. To go only. Difficult parking. Tastes not bad. Service is okay. It’s kinda messy in the shop but the food is good. It’s a good place for the ppl who want to have some dim sum for lunch!

Excellent hole in the wall dim sum spot on bockman. Reasonable prices and really good dim sum. Har gow, siu mai, sia pao, sticky rice and beef roll were all fantastic.
