This was hands down the BEST burger my family and I had in a long time!!! Do yourself a favor and eat here. I got the Standard and added bacon caramelized onions and a onion ring. My daughter got the breakfast burger and my husband got the jalapeño. We all couldn’t stop raving about how good it was. My daughter even ate the whole burger which she never does. We topped off our meal with a fruity pebble vanilla milkshake. We are not from Jersey but visit often. This will definitely be a place we will be visiting everytme!! The staff was wonderful too, Diesel and Duke is a all around win!!

Used to order from here couple years ago when I first moved back to Jersey. The quality was much different & the smash burger style wasn’t adopted yet. The desserts are awesome can’t go wrong with there signature fried Oreos. I’m highly impressed with the quality, staff and food in recent times.

Really tasty burgers for a good price. The peanut butter burger is nicely balanced with bacon and the peanut butter taste doesn’t overwhelm. The Smokeshow burger comes with a giant onion ring that gives the burger a great crunch. Cajun fries were also tasty. Cute location.

I’m a long time fan of these burgers and fries. However, the staff (at least last night) was exceptionally rude, hostile and unprofessional — all for no apparent reason. When I ordered a double burger, the employee become combative, demanding that I look at the menu. I said that I had, and I wanted a double burger with lettuce and tomato. He became increasingly agitated, and I have no idea why. I also ordered fries, but he did not put that in until he reviewed the order and asked if I wanted fries. He never asked if it was for here or to go. We sat down at a table and gathered napkins and ketchup. When the order was ready, he was annoyed that we were staying in because he had put the order in a bag. In 40+ years of dining out, I have never encountered such a rude, hostile employee. And I did nothing to provoke it. I simply said I would like a double burger. If I see him taking orders the next time I walk in, I will take my business elsewhere. There are plenty of good burgers to be had in Jersey City that do not include unprovoked rude and hostile treatment.

Stopped by with fam after a day in the hot sun on liberty Island. It’s a chill vibe with a great staff. The service was prompt and friendly. The place is clean and has great music. Most importantly the prices were reasonable and the burgers and fries are quality and tasted phenomenal. Truly a gem in this neighborhood.

Solid Burger spot! They just high quality beef and still cook it the way you want (not over cooked). Their specialty burgers have good combinations of flavors with everything in the right ratios. Fried oreos are done well, crispy outside and soft middle. The cheese fries use real cheese and whole sliced whole potato. Good spot for a quick bite or take a out.
