So the food was good. Some parts of it were hard, but not bad. You can tell they have a new owner since they sealed the wall up separating them from the pizza place next door. I just wish they had chicken as a choice since I enjoy that the most. Don’t want to drive to the riverside plaza location just for that.

I paid too much for meat that looked and felt like it was from the day before. Nothing had flavor. The brisket was way too salty and definitely did not taste like it was smoked. I got a full rack of ribs and they were hard to chew with no flavor as well. This was my second visit and now I’m very disappointed with this place. Will not be going back.

This was my first time visiting a Dickey’s Barbecue Pit and the quality of the meats were okay, but the flavor does not even begin to compare to Oklahoma or Texas Barbecue because even though it looked like it had been smoked it was absent of smoke flavor. The baked beans tasted like it came out of Pork & Beans can and the Potatoe salad was A-Okay so I will give a grade of C+ and will not return.

Got the Brisket sandwich, never had brisket before. All bread, little meat: not soggy Meat tasted like tender, sweetish beef jerky. Bread was flavored well, buttery garlic and meat juice.

They served my chicken on the placemat. Chicken and 2 sides was $26??? They took out the soft serve machine and the food was marginal. Bye Dickies. It was nice while it lasted.

I feel bad writing this but this place is so gross. Walking in it has this weird smell awful smell, like stinky feet or something. I wish I had followed my gut and went somewhere else. We got the pulled pork and it was really dry/overcooked. Sure enough, we now have food poisoning. Great way to the new year. The kid working the counter was genuinely nice though.
