I know this is a chain but I was curious to give them a try. First off, the service was amazing. They were extremely nice and pleasant to deal with. The potato I ordered was gigantic and put together well. I would have liked a few more drink options but they did have sweet tea. I am more receptive to going to other stores down the road. The only negative is it was on the expensive side but what bbq isn’t nowadays.

Looked up Bar-b-que on site since we’re from our of town and not able to make make the sides. Website had one price. But the manager was a lil short when we mentioned the price difference. He didn’t honor the price. The “Pit Master”was nice, the cashier was nice. Then when we tasted the beans; I could’ve just bought some from the store and added some barbeque sauce n some bacon , and saved $30 bucks. The potato salad was ok. The potatoes were still hard throughout and could’ve used more seasoning. I knew I should’ve just bought the big tub from Walmart. Saved another $30. Won’t be buying the party size AGAIN for sure.

Walked in, dropped my jaw when I saw the prices…and walked right back out then drove 2 miles to pay almost half the price in a sit down bbq restaurant up the street. I don’t know who sets the pricing if it’s the Franchise owner or Corporate but this is inflation price gouging at its worst. These are teetering toward filet mignon at fine restaurants pricing. Unbelievable.

Last weekend, my family and I rented an air bnb for a little stay cation in Palm Springs and I got hungry as we began to pack to go home. As I was hungry, I decided to stop by Dickey’s Barbecue Pit for dinner. As this was my second time at the restaurant, I thought the exceptional food and service were just limited to Gardena as other restaurants had been similar; I was thankfully wrong.

Nice affordable meal with great daily specials. Monday is the pulled pork sandwich and Tuesdays are the ribs, which are the usual days I go. The deal includes two sides, so I go with the onion tanglers and the baked potato casserole. Also, free ice cream!
