Took forever to order online because they wouldn’t take my or my husbands credit card. So I had to set up Apple Pay and put my credit card on there. It accepted that. But had to redo the order like 5 times. It was a mission just trying to order and pay. Wouldn’t just let me pay when I got to the restaurant. I’d understand if it was a $100+ order, but it was $36. Definitely not worth that much though. The fries are soggy, greasy, and mostly skin. For $5, I’d expect more than half a handful. Ribs were dry and only had 3 small bites of meat on them. Rolls were tough and gross. Mac and cheese was dry. Brisket was dry. Loaded potato casserole was brown and gross. No napkins or utensils in the bag. I guess you don’t need them since everything has been sitting under the heat lamp all day. Husband had to convince the cashier to give us a soda we paid for. The best thing of the meal was the soda. Definitely don’t recommend this “Legit Texas BBQ”

The Dickey’s BBQ on 1410 Wyoming Albuquerque NM is the most disgusting carryout food I have “ever” experienced! The brisket was extremely dry and stringy. 1/2 of it was fat cap. It was like eating crewing gum. The Mac & Cheese must have been on the steam table for days! The cheese was brown and the macaroni was mush. I cannot believe I wasted $60 on this pathetic meal. It’s going into the trash were it belongs.

Went to Dickies at Wyoming and Constitution for lunch with a friend. Got 1/2 lb pulled pork with a side of BBQ beans and it was delicious. The meat is a touch dry on its own but the spicy sauce makes it pop. Enjoyed the bread as well.

If you order from these guys via doordash and they run out of something they do not call see if you want a substitution. They sent a day old biscuit if I would have thrown it it could have been consider assault with a deadly weapon. They sent wrong side dishes as well but since there were two of them on the ordered I just sucked it up. The brisket I order was not warm. You guy had better fix yourself or you will just go out of business like other bad restaurants.

This was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had at a Dickey’s BBQ. There were 3 employees there and not 1 of them had a shirt or hat or anything with “Dickey’s” on it that would tell you they were employees except they were behind the counter. We were there about 2 hours after they opened and were told that they had just run out of the polish sausage (please note there were 3 other people in the entire place) and that they didn’t have fried okra because the fryer wasn’t working. I asked for sliced brisket and was told it wasn’t slicing well so I ended up with chopped brisket. We were expecting Texas Toast per the menu and ended up with some sort of roll… My partner ordered the 3 meat plate and got what looked like pulled brisket, 2 small slices of chicken, and an off colored cheddar jalapeno sausage without jalapenos. All of the meat was cold. The station that should have been set up with pickles, onions, etc was dirty, empty, and covered with saran wrap. The tables all needed a good wipe down and the female employee licking her fingers behind the counter and walking around in Croc sandals needs to be addressed. Honestly, I should’ve asked for a refund before we even sat down with our food but it was such a struggle to process my payment, I wasn’t fully confident that they would know how to issue one.

Honestly, this place does not deserve one star. The brisket was horrible and not cut with care. The loaded baked potato casserole was more like a paste with fatty pieces of bacon added. The beans are pork and beans from a can. The baroque sauce helped mask the taste of the two bites of meat I tried to choke down. Every bite of each part of the meal put a look of disgust on my face.

So upset with this place! Had a birthday party for my son, so we ordered the XL combo family meal. This meal says it feeds up to 6-8 people… Are you kidding me?! Maybe if everyone had a tablespoon of the sides. We spent $105! It was suppose to be ready at 3pm for pick up that we called in that morning. Wasn’t ready yet, but we didn’t wait too long. Then got home and noticed they forgot our bread. After getting ripped off, I had to go to the store to get extra food. Never again!
