Ice cream machine was out of order! Root beer was out. The bathroom was disgusting, the floor and condiment station were dirty. Didn’t have the slush ice, had low quality silverware. No onion tanglers.

Unfortunately the quality has gone down a lot since the ownership change. Everything is more bland, very popular menu items removed, and the meat is dry and tough. The restaurant itself is also much more dirty and is not being maintained well. I likely won’t be ordering again

I would stop in every other month or so after grocery shopping to grab lunch for my husband and I. We dint have BBQ any closer to us. I would shake my head everything and be like why do I even bother! This place was a joke. Dirty, unfriendly workers, and the food was always made half asked. Well I decided to try it again because I wanted so.e BBQ. To my surprise upon walking in, I I Stanly notice a change. Not just the atmosphere of the place but the place actually looked cleaner and felt better. I was met by the catering manager and she and her coworker were amazing. The food is still a little bit if a struggle to get it right for take out, but I’m so happy they got rid if the last management lead and made some positive changes. Looking forward to going back. Thank you for a great experience!

Horrible! Ordered pulled pork and ribs. The ribs were all fat and the pulled pork was extremely stringy and weird. The slaw tasted like dirty dishwater and the waffle fries were regular fries. So bizarre and disgusting will never order here again

A GEM hidden just off 10th Street in —-After my glowing review of Dickey’s Becue has lost some of it’s glamor! We have visited regularly on the day they have the special pulled pork sandwich, with a special price. The food, service and delicious smells can not be beaten! The PRICE on a “regular” almost stopped my heart! Visit Dickey’s on specials day OR join me somewhere else where it does not cost “an arm and s leg” for a very modest meal!!!!

Not a fan of the new management much at all… used to be my favorite spot for or even dinner. Haven’t visited in a few months but when I came back I caught wind of management changes. Didn’t think anything of it, ordered my food and went home. When opening my order, my pork sandwich was dry, unseasoned and just slapped together. I requested chopped up brisket burnt ends, and they just put one single massive chunk of meat into the to-go box and sent it out. It wasn’t even the correct cut of “burnt ends” so I was very unpleased. Today I tried it again, with my family for dinner. I got the same thing, chopped brisket burnt ends. Same result, just a chunk or brisket (not even the ends) thrown into the box and put in the bag. I didn’t know new management can change the way food is cooked and/or tastes, But I don’t think I’ll be going here as my spot anymore because it definitely isn’t the same.

Brisket wasn’t trimmed before smoking. Ice cream machine has not worked in quite a while. Sauces were cold. Overall . Wouldn’t recommend it. .

Who doesn’t know and recognize the big yellow cup? Stopped here for quick lunch because fried okra and a half and half iced tea was on my mind. I ended up ordering the Friday special which was pulled pork, two sides, a roll, and a drink for about $12. No okra was available which was a bummer so I went with coleslaw and waffle fries. Pulles pork was good as were the sides. Food is about 3.5 but service made this a 4. Friendly team who was definitely trying to take care of everyone.
