Surprisingly great BBQ for a decent price. I purchased the two-meat plate (sausage and brisket) and I felt like the food was very good. I enjoyed the spicy BBQ sauce. My fiancé got a baked potato, and she wished the pulled pork could’ve been warmer so that’s the biggest thing bringing the quality down. Sides are great too – I recommend the Mac and Cheese or the fries.

I DO NOT Recommend the 22510 Hwy 59 Porter location. To preface, Noone was even at the counter when I walked up to place my order? I had to walk next door to get someone there to notify the Dickey’s people they had a customer. When the Dickey’s young man finally arrived at the counter he was rude, abrupt and not very helpful. I ordered the 2-meat plate at $15.50 with 2 sides and a roll. I was Extremely disappointed when I received 2scrawny ribs with very little beef (mostly ALL bone!) and they were not very good at all. The sausage was good there just wasn’t enough of it for $15.50. I expect to pay a little more for BBQ, I understand enough about the market to know I’m going to inevitably pay more for BBQ when I dine out. But I also Expect MORE when I order BBQ in Texas. Very disappointing experience here I won’t be back

Eaten here a few times over the years, and its usually pretty good for ‘fast food bbq’. Tonight was terrible. Service was good, but 1/2 of my 3 meat plate i shared with my daughter was inedible.

We had grub hub deliver our dinner which had about 1/2 of the items we ordered. When I called Dickey’s, the lady said that half of the things on the menu where out of stock due to the payment mistake by management for said items not being delivered. We spent just under $50 dollars for dinner and received 1/2 of the things we ordered. I will never order from there again. Terrible.

We ordered from Uber eats. Expectations weren’t high, but still ended up really disappointed. 2 meat plate was 2 ribs, burnt ends was two cubes. Food was not good at all, I think a person attempting to smoke a brisket or pork ribs for the first time would do a better job. First and last time eating here.

The food is good if you can get the staff to serve you. I have 30 minutes for lunch and work very close-by so I came here. The people behind the counter didn’t acknowledge me at all. they didn’t even look up, after I waited for 5 minutes. It was 11:30 on 9/23/22 and no one else was in line or waiting. They looked like they were making an order, but they definitely saw me considering I was right at the register.

I placed an online order for a giant baker with meat. It did not say they were out of potatoes. I paid for the order and when I went to pick it up I was told they had no potatoes. I am still waiting for them to refund my money. Do not go here. I suggest going to the location off Northpark. I had no issues there and my food was ready on time.

Updated review – Will not return to this location. Their staff seems to always be juiced up on something & when I went in and paid without giving a tip. The employee who looked ‘half lit’ got mouthy about the tip… This is a fast food joint. Since when is it the customers responsibility to pay fast food workers a tip? They are not servers or waiters who make $2 an hour. Perhaps Dickeys should pay their fast food workers a better wage and not try to make the customers tip for what’s already overpriced dry BBQ.
