The best experience I’ve had in a dine in restaurant in a long time. We decided to come here on a whim and our waitress (who was also the cook!) was absolutely delightful. It’s clear that she has a passion for her work. The tea tasted fresh. I would recommend this spot to everyone in Haltom City. It is rare to find an eatery with such a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere.

For a small crew in a renovated space, I was STUNNED at the level of service with a smile and the quality of the food. These are real people doing real, good work, and I’ll definitely be back. The owner provided samples of the banana pudding which had the perfect level of sweetness and flavor. We had the sliced brisket, and the bark was perfectly done – not too tough, but flavorful without being overwhelming. Genuinely excellent work. Will return when I have more time!

The food was great. Miss Jay had excellent customer service and is a great person. They did take over a location that has some challenges to get up and running… but I have every confidence that improvements are on the way. Definitely look forward to the next visit…. and hopefully I will have room for the banana pudding.
