This was my first time trying Dickeys……and it will be my last. I’m not from Texas. Maybe it’s just me, but I didn’t care for their potato salad, slaw, green beans, or pulled pork. The bbq sauce had a good taste. I was extremely disappointed that the menu had pictures of buttered toast with the meals, but I was told that the plates were served with a roll, instead. Those were the worst! My husband and I didn’t even finish our plates. We tossed most our meals. Oh well, we gave it a try, but no. Oh, and the plastic cutlery out front isn’t even wrapped! Everybody just reaches in the same bin and grabs an unwrapped fork and spoon!!!!

Okay…I just don’t understand because this is the second time in 2 months this has happened. I drove thru at 11:30am & ordered 2 loaded baked potatoes. They said wait a minute, then returned to the speaker & said it would be another 30-45 minutes before they would be ready. Extremely bad planning for a restaurant that opens at 11:00am. Not doing this again & certainly not worth the 30-45 minute wait. Very disappointed again.

Ate lunch here today and they are already out of potatoes and sausage by 12 noon. The green beans are very vingary. Slow service. And charged me 40 dollars for 2 ppl. I wont be back.

Iv loved dickeys BBQ for years. This one here is the first I had issues with. And the only issue is the tables felt like they had years of gunk on them. I understand they are wood tables but they don’t feel clean. They are sticky. Everything els is fantastic.

I went in and got a to go sliced beef and tanglers. The beef was good but when i opened up the onion tanglers they were burned to a chrisp. Couldn’t even eat them!!

My husband and I really enjoy this place! The brisket is always tender, which is usually what I get there. He likes the rib plate special on Tuesday nights. The fried okra is the best in town! Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful. It’s also clean, which is a plus!
