STAY AWAY!!! The food was okay but horrible service. I was the only customer in the store and they took 5 minutes to acknowledge me. I was never greeted after walking to the store. After watching the staff behavior for a bit (no fire on anyone a$$), I thought about walking away but instead decided to give the place a shot. They completely messed up my order, missing a side, a sandwich, and the wrong meat (the order was correct in the receipt). I had to drive an extra 30 min back to the store to grab the rest of my food. The cashier named Kiya when she heard my history kept asking her staff if they really missed some items on their order, instead of just giving what I needed. After all, they gave me my stuff. However, never offered me any type of compensation for all the trouble. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

I was suspect if going here because I was reading some of the reviews and when I got there, the staff was more than helpful and help me pick out the food choices and the place was clean. The meat was good, could do better with the sides and the size but overall my family will eat from there again. The brisket was real good and the pulled pork was good. Chicken was tender and the sauce was good.

Updated: I went back a few months later expecting the kinks of the service to be worked out. I was mostly right. I ordered online and showed up when they said the order would be ready. They were still out of one of the four things I ordered, and two of the things had to be modified. But they had my order ready other than the thing they were out of when I arrived. They were skimpy on the BBQ sauce this time, but at least I didn’t have to recite my order again and wait forever like the first time. The manager also seemed much nicer this time. They’re just overworked.

I really do love this place. The food is my favorite type of meats and is just fantastic. I really just wish the service was better. I own my own business, and I understand how tough it is to manage and run and place, but man, I feel that the only negative that can be said is that the service can be really bad at times. I paid $23 dollars for a pork rib plate and I only got THREE RIBS! And two little sides with it! That is really disappointing. I could’ve paid $8 for the same thing somewhere else… I get more than that from a local restaurant for $6. I have a picture of it as well.
