I decided to stop by for lunch today. I ordered a brisket sandwich and got a bag of chips and a drink with it. The staff was friendly and the facility looked very nice. Everything looked clean and in order. My food was OK. It wasn’t the best, but it wasn’t the worst either. It just didn’t seem fresh. I ordered a brisket sandwich and the brisket was a little dry. It seemed like it was a few days old. However, it did hit the spot and a child it down with complete satisfaction. I think my favorite part was the ice machine for my drink. I love crushed ice. And with such a hot day eating record temperatures it really hit the spot. A little odd a little different but it’s the truth. Prices were a little high but that’s not their fault. They’re just trying to keep their head above water and keep the business running. Yes I would return and if you’re craving barbecue yes I’ll recommend it.

I asked about how good the ribs where and Terry offered me a sample! (The Ribs are amazing btw)Which for me was very exciting because not a lot of places offer that. And Samantha took our order and cashed out us out and she was super friendly! 10/10 would definitely come back!

Turns out if you want to order food via delivery services, you need to call ahead to make sure they are not out of something. 3 consecutive times I’ve had an order and the delivery driver had to call me to find a substitution. Then after getting the call, then it takes longer to get my food. What’s the point of having phone numbers on the receipts of the restaurant can’t be bothered to call me themselves to not waste my time. Never going back.

I’m in service myself, and the block master terry was super amazing, he walked me through things and hooked me up with a little extra since it was my first time. Really good BBQ! Stopped in for a quick dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The food had a really good smoked flavor and taste. Sauces and sides were all on point as well. The cashier was friendly and helpful while the young man taking orders and preparing food seemed a little annoyed taking our order/answering questions. We had brisket (torn with the grain instead of traditionally cut against the grain for some reason), ribs, sausage, & turkey with potatoes, green beans, mac & cheese & potato salad. My only complaint would be that the meat serving portions were a little small (ex. Portion of ribs was literally 2 rib bones, turkey was 2 small slices, sausage consisted of 4 or 5 slices). All in all, it was worth it for a quick and easy (if not cheap) meal. Will go back!!

My husband and I stopped in at 11:20am (they opened for lunch at 11) on Sat. Mar 18th. There was 1 employee, Elizabeth, in the branch and she killed it! She had the place prepped and ready for the lunch rush and did it all with a great attitude. The food was excellent. Does look like there has been some owner/managerial changes, for the good.
