Walked in on July 4th at 2pm, we were the only 2 in the restaurant. Not a huge surprise, it was after the parade and lunch and before dinner and fire works. Food was good but expensive, we split a standard meat plate that comes with 2 sides, got pulled pork and spicy sausage with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese, plus one drink, $20. Food was good, sides were ok. Prices are a little high for what you get. A positive experience overall!

We found ourselves here and hungry. The food was good and the people were awesome!! The Westerner is definitely worth trying. I put sweet and spicy BBQ sauce on it and it didn’t disappoint

Food was definitely not fresh and cold. Sides tasted like it was from the freezer section in Walmart, not like it used to be made here. The barbecue sauce was cold and there was a nasty film over it. The tea tasted old and burned. I paid for 2 lunches, which was over $32, that was not fresh or good. The service is good, but food is lacking tremendously, as well as cleanliness. I can understand why is was empty… I’m very disappointed, as this used to be one of my favorite restaurants.

Clean, homey, and welcome feeling. The staff was kind and quick to serve as well as answer any questions. The food is really good. I got the 2 plate platter with beef brisket and pulled pork. The meat was flavorful and so tender. The sides were great, the beans tangy and the Cole slaw was simple but so good. My friend got beef brisket as well along with the Mac and cheese (which he inhaled) and a said of excellent Waffle fries. My other friend got the frito pie and absolutely loved it. Plus, the bathrooms were clean! I have always liked Dickey’s. Will definitely be returning.

Never again, Manager was abusive, inflammatory, derisive all because I am disabled and on a cane. By far the most disgusting display I have ever seen. Customer blocked the handicap entrance and threw a fit when I asked her to move so I could walk up the ramp. Instead the manager gave her her food for free after she called the sheriff on me for taking a picture of her license plate. Bonus, customer was a nurse and parked in the zebra stripe area. Fortunately, I did not fall, though I did stumble trying to come off the curb.

I visited right at dinner time on a Friday night. The restaurant was empty. There were no other customers. I asked about one of my favorite sides, and they had been discontinued. I ended up getting two plain pulled pork sandwiches and a large drink for just over $20. The food was fresh, and the service was prompt. There was an issue with two different payment systems. The free ice cream was out of order. It is a shame because this could be a great restaurant but seems to be on life support. They need more customers so they can keep all menu selections in stock and their equipment in working order.

Went today for lunch at 12:40 for a baked potato only to be told they would not be ready for another half hour, well pass lunch time. Decided we would have daily special only to get it back to the office and found meat was old and did not taste good. When we went to get cups of sauce, the warmer was off and the sauce was old. One pan of sauce was sitting on counter uncovered and had a dried up film of sauce on top. According to staff night shift did not clean up and they would be getting to it shortly. Ice machine and ice cream machine were broken. Very dirty and a waste of $10.69. Restaurant only had 4 other people in there. Very nasty! Too shocked to take pictures of sauces and drink area but this is food.

The food was excellent, and the staff even fought with a mostly-broken ice cream machine to get the last bits out for my kids. Very impressed.
