The service and staff were wonderful! But the food was not really good, it was just so-so. The okra was super salty, the meat was soggy but the Mac and cheese was great. The worst part was how dirty the floors were. They were sticky in some places and slippery in others, I actually slipped and almost fell 4 times. There was actual grime and filth on the floor. There is potential, but they really need to clean. Great great personality though with the staff, they were sweet and helpful.

Love this place! The beans & fries are the best! Brisket & pulled pork are very good, but the kielbasa is what keeps me coming back. This time, I was also able to get a slice of pecan pie! Low key, cozy environment with extra-friendly staff.

This place is a joke. Almost ten bucks for a tiny bit of smoked meat on a bun. No slaw on the sandwich so it was made my side for the meal. the amount of slaw was more than the sandwich to put it on. Best part is there was no sauce at all on the actual meat. I was charged a full dollar for about an oz of sauce. I ordered the spicy bbq and it just seems to be regular sauce with some pepper flake shaken in. So they charge you for a do it yourself bbq kit with no side if you ask about slaw and not even enough sauce to make it damp let alone what most would call bbq, wet. Why people go here is beyond me but I surly will not be returning.

This was some of the worst brisket I’ve ever had. Dry, chewy, gray with no smoke ring, and no sauce. At least the taste was fine enough with the crust. The sides were good and it’s a decent amount for the price. My fiancee said the cheddar jalapeno kielbasa was really good. Just don’t get the brisket I guess. I won’t be getting this again as I only go to BBQ places for brisket in the first place.

We stopped by this place after my VA appointment. (June 14th 2023)…. my fiance and I both got the #3 pulled pork combo. Service was outstanding and the food was better than any other place we have tried in the Ashville area and around the upstate SC area. I will definitely be back!

I really like this chain. Excellent service by the staff. Great parking. And I love the pulled pork barbecue. However the place reeked of disinfectant. I’m sure it was just the restaurant attempting to comply with the sanitation theater demanded by the government. But, stink detracted from an excellent meal.

Horrible, Dickey’s Corporate can you please shut this place down. Employees were outside the front entrance smoking cigarettes talking to these two obese girls who were yelling at a man with his pants around his ankles in the parking lot. Then they proceeded to come in with their cat. They allowed a Walmart employee back to cook his own food behind the line with a disgusting stained Walmart vest. No menus, 30 mins wait for Mac and Cheese which was frozen and already made but they had to boil it to thaw it out. Just seems like a place on its last leg letting a couple losers have a job and bringing their friends till they close. Please close this place. How the health department let it stay open is beyond me.

We came in 30 minutes before closing, and the people working could not have been more welcoming. They chatted with us, talked about music (their selection was great), and the service was super fast. So wonderful, and thats rare these days.

Pleasantly surprised by this place. In town for the weekend and my kids wanted some BBQ. We’re not the most picky eaters but to have a meal where nobody complains is pretty uncommon. Everyone was happy with their food and we ended up getting almost every meat they had to offer. There were at least 8 options of good meat to try. The sides were also really good. Fried pickles, Mac and cheese, fries, and waffle fries. I would visit again!
