The sign outside says Under New Management: Service With A Smile and it shows. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Service was fantastic. Food was excellent. Bathrooms are a bit snug. The Westerner with the jalapeno cheddar sausage is one of my new favorites.

We placed our order online and when we got to the restaurant our food wasn’t even ready. Not to mention there weren’t any customers there when we arrived. The fries were soggy. The brisket and pulled pork was dry and the ribs were burnt and tasted like they were cooked a week ago. Also ordered lemon pepper wings and they tasted like how raw chicken smells when it’s been left out. Ordered the Giant Baker and when we got there they were all sold out. The owner asked if we wanted to get something else in its place and suggested more ribs. Now I know why. Probably trying to get rid of those old burnt ribs.

I hope the new owners can overcome the damage done by the previous owners because this place is amazing!!! We own Bear Creek Supply which you can see from Dickey’s and we plan to eat her often!! WE got a baked potato topped with chopped brisket and we also got a pulled pork sandwich with beans and potato salad on the side. Everything was absolutely delicious!! We did carry out so I’m not sure what the dine in service is like. They are still trying to find help like all restaurants are these days. But we wish them the best and we are happy to leave an honest 5 star review!!

We left Harrahs Casino, wanted some good BBQ. Dickies hit the spot. The new Owner served us and was super nice. Service was great…

We were hesitant to try because of the google rating, I’ll admit, I’m a star snob. My husband really wanted one of their reusable cups and was stoked on its proximity to our new house, so he gave it a try. He got the pulled-pork loaded baked potato and also a brisket sandwich. He is pickier than me (clearly not with the ratings) and he loved both. So stoked he tried it. We will be bringing friends and family here when they come to visit. Give Dickey’s a try, you’ll be happy you did!

My wife and I stopped in for a bite at Dickey’s on our way home from a mountain trip. I’d always wanted to try Dickey’s Barbecue Pit and I figured “why not now” as we came to it. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We were immediately greeted. We placed our order and the food arrived to our table quickly. The food was amazing! My wife had a chicken sandwich and added some spicy sauce to it. She said it was phenomenal. The chicken was so moist and tender. It broke apart like a fish filet. It’s hard to get chicken that tender but somehow they did! I had brisket and ribs and absolutely loved them. I enjoy smoking my own meats from time to time so I’m generally picky when it comes to my smoked meats. The brisket and ribs did not disappoint. I had mac and cheese and the loaded baked potato casserole as my sides. Both were fresh and delicious. My wife stuck with the fresh cut fries to accompany her sandwich. She would have been in heaven with a little malt vinegar but she said they were amazing without it. She said they were some of the best fresh cut fries she’s ever had. She also really enjoyed her sweet tea hat came with her combo. As we ate, the pit master himself, Big T (Tony), came out to check on us. He was super friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed talking to him. The ladies working checked on us as well. We appreciated the attentiveness and friendliness of the entire staff. We were there right around noon and they had a low crowd. I can’t understand why because our experience was amazing and the food was quality! Apparently, the new owners just took over earlier this year. I encourage anyone who is considering a visit to hurry over to Dickey’s! My wife and I will be back with our kids in tow to eat Labor Day week and we are stoked!

The food was great! Loved the potatoes and the sweet BBQ sauce! There was a bit of a wait for pickup, but the place was very busy and only 3 workers, they were workin’ hard. Please remember to be kind to your service workers! Evan and the crew were very kind, we will definitely be back!

We came in late one night last week. They were short handed, but the ladies that were there working did an amazing job serving us. They were so friendly and helpful. To top this all off the food was amazing. I can honestly say that the pulled pork was the best I’ve ever had in my life.

Dined here a few days ago after getting into town and setting the camper up at dinner time and not having enough time to cook. The Mac & cheese was out of this world, and the baked potato casserole was excellent. The pulled pork was decent and the sliced brisket was a little on the dry side. However, we arrived about 40 minutes prior to them closing so I’m sure that had something to do with it and wouldn’t necessarily hold it against them. The staff was super friendly and helpful and their Carolina sauce is mighty tasty. Would attend here again next time we’re in the area if we’re out and about.
