I was lucky enough to get there early and get some brisket burnt ends. Tasty! The pork sandwich was dry. They removed pork ends from the menu. Friendly staff. Sides and BBQ sauce is good.

Great place for a quick bite. Got the $10 chicken sandwich combo which I think was a great deal. Several bbq sauces to choose from (the two we tried had a little kick to them). My favorite was the fried okra. It tastes fresh, not frozen, like other fried okras I’ve had before. The two men working were very welcoming.

To be completely honest for the prices and portions I should’ve just gone to Luella’s and paid the same for bigger and better portions, these portions are for toddler’s honestly spent 40$ for a small sandwich and a 2 meat tray with barley anything in it, just look at the portion size compared to my hand. Unbelievable.

Running out of items seems to be the norm. This night the Giant Bakers, Baked Potato Casserole, Kielbasa (or forgotten, as it wasn’t included) and a number of other selections had been nixed for the night. I ordered the Pork Out Platter that supposedly included pulled pork, pork ribs, kielbasa and pork burnt ends with my side being waffle fries and mac and cheese. Fries came raw, still soft and folded over, dripping grease. Meats were a mishmash, only two of the meats I ordered discernible, with the overall taste acceptable. Mac and cheese was hot and cheesy and the dinner rolls were good. Besides the mac, temperature was lacking and the waffle fries after a second bath in the hot grease edible. (Photo of fries is after second go round). The eatery is dark on the outside and dingy in the inside. Staff were friendly. Nothing here to encourage me to come again.

We called ahead to see if they were open. The man who answered said yes, so we headed that way. The entire place was empty, and no cars in the parking lot which is usually indicative of an unpopular restaurant, but we went in anyway. When I opened the door and walked in, a man with dark hair and a beard was looking at me angrily and shaking his head in disapproval of our arrival. A short woman with short dark hair also stared at us like she hated the fact that we just walked in. I asked, “are you open?” And with a disgruntled sigh, she said, “yes” and basically rolled her eyes. We asked a couple menu questions and she answered us like we had just pissed in her cornflakes and was trying to hold it together. We left right then and you could tell they couldn’t have been happier. Never got to order, didn’t taste the food. We couldn’t get past the piss poor attitudes of the employees to even get to order, but with staff like that, it’s no wonder they are empty. Won’t go there again and neither should you.

Service was great, staff were friendly. I got carry out (brisket) for dinner, but it was not good at all. The food had been sitting in trays behind a glass (similar to buffet line, but the staff serves your meal). You point to what you want. It truly tasted like the food had been sitting there all day. I’m not picky when it comes to bbq, but I truly could not eat it. I had to toss it out when I got home. The bbq sauce tasted and looked like it had coagulated around cubes of beef all day long. I’ve been to other Dickeys chains before and they were excellent. Sadly this one was much different than the other Dickeys restaurants. Food was not edible.

Good friendly service. I have never been here before today. Got the brisket with fried okra, and a drink. $12. Okra was good. I could barely chew through the sandwich.

Called sat on hold for 10 minutes listening to their conversation about personal life. I hung up and called 6 times and they were busy.

This is a cool little restaurant in Hendersonville, NC just off the exit. I found out it is a chain that started in Texas as course. I am born and raise in Texas so no surprise this place is the real deal. As you can see I got bbq chicken with bbq sauce just dripping. The meat just fell apart it was so tender and juicy. I also had the Coleslaw and potatoe salad that were tasty.

Was kind of disappointed. We got brisket and it was very dry and tough. Couldn’t eat it. We also ordered wings and ribs. Wings were so little and we thought they would be smoked, not. Ribs were really tender and flavorful.
