Loved this Location!! My husband and I were driving through on our way back home and wanted good BBQ. I had the Polish sausage, chicken breast, and ribs. (3 meat platter) I also had Mac and cheese, coke slaw, and green beans. Everything was great!! I even got a second helping of sausage to go for my dad I loved it so much.

Barbecue chicken and turkey were good, the sauces are tasty too. Great service too. I brought some brisket burnt ends home for the next day and they were great even without sauce. Back again and great again.

The food I would have given 5 stars, but the brisket and the chicken were a little dry and not big on flavors until you added the sauce. However, the RIBS….Literally some of the best ribs I’ve ever had! The service was good, but they were young kids, and while I was outside trying to enjoy my lunch, they were horse playing a little too much inside. Hearing things bounce off the glass from outside is a little unprofessional. But all and all a good place.

Food so far has been good. We’ve stopped in a few times for dine in and take out. The employees are kind but there’s been mistakes or forgotten items with each order due to rushing or lack of attention to detail. I’d rather wait a little longer for food than to get all the way home and have sides missing or incorrect orders.

After eating Dickey’s in Texas off and on for 20 years. Is I am truly disappointed with the food I was served! Worse Dickey’s I ever ate at. Emailed email address they asked me to. Update month later still no response from my email. Seems like there is something seriously wrong here!!!! Probably time to take this up with corporate.

There are a few good places to eat barbecue in and around Dahlgren, VA, but Dickey’s BBQ Pit is one of the best. The selections and the menu are great, and the portions are very good. The atmosphere in the restaurant is always positive and the place is always clean. This is by far one of my favorite barbecue places in this local Dahlgren area and I recommend it to anyone passing through or visiting the area.
