A magical spot and a true hidden gem among Portland’s dining options. Take a 30 minute ferry from the city and dine by the water on a quiet, secluded cove. Food and drink are a little pricey, but solid, and the staff are always friendly and accommodating. 10/10 for a memorable date, place to bring friends from out of town, or adult family reunion.

As a born and raised Mainer, I knew I wanted to get married by the ocean. After doing our research and touring multiple venues along the coast, we knew Diamond’s Edge was the perfect choice for us. Set in Maine’s beautiful Casco Bay, the venue allowed us to show our guests just how stunning our state can be. Most of our guests travelled in for the big day and it was fun having them get the authentic ferry experience!

The food was amazing. I had the Fish and Chips, and most people in my party ordered burgers. We had a charcuterie and the blueberry wings to start, and a delicious bottle of rose. I definitely would like to return again. It was raining, and we ate out on the porch – even though everything was grey it was still stunning. The Bathroom stall was not large enough to be ADA compliant, and it was difficult maneuvering with my Service Dog, but it wasn’t anything we couldn’t handle. Not sure if this restaurant is wheelchair friendly.

Lack of food options for what you’d expect at a location like this. You’d think a beautiful island restaurant would have amazing seafood. Nope. Watery, bland halibut, undercooked risotto. The only lobster is a lobster roll which you can get literally anywhere in Maine. All in all, so disappointing

We had a very disappointing dining experience recently, our dear friend had eaten there in the past and thought it deserved its high rating but we we stunned at the tasteless, poorly prepared food we were offered. We had paparadelle (dry, tasteless and without proper dressing), blackened haddock tacos with little haddock, mostly tomatoes with too much cheese, and a pricey swordfish steak served half raw. The three of us were stunned by the poorly prepared dishes and commented on them to the waiter and hostess. We were told it might be an issue in the kitchen because they were also cooking for a wedding rehearsal dinner. Clearly they shortchanged the dining public at this overpriced, so called 5 star resort restaurant. Stay away.

Great food and wonderful service with a view from our porch seating overlooking the cove. The drinks were watery and tasteless which kept this from being a 5 star review.

Best place to have a lobster and good food. Wait staff is friendly and kitchen staff is amazingly talented. I thanked the chef Josh so many times for the excellent food. He is cooking better than a master chef. So nice view and great food. You won’t regret to dine in here.

went there today with a group. The location if absolutely beautiful! The food was absolutely excellent, the wait staff were very warm, friendly and efficient. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 is that the hostess was rude, abrupt and unwelcoming. The should have much better than her!
