Living in a much smaller town without a good food selection is rough, while visiting Sioux city for work I chose this establishment for lunch. It was pretty empty for lunch so I was a bit worried. But the food was good, not great. It was hot,flavorful and a good portion. I will eat here again, just need to figure out how to add some spice to the food.

Diamond Thai has a large menu with many entrees to choose from. The food looked great and tasted even greater. I went for a company lunch and we did a family style dinner where everyone tried a little bit of each entree. (Think of Thanksgiving when everyone passes around all of the food). It worked really well with Diamond Thai’s atmosphere. I am excited to get back and try even more options!

Our food was fresh, authentic and delicious! We stopped here while on a long road trip back to Minneapolis and Diamond Thai was a breath of fresh air after days of fried diner food and drive thrus. We have eaten at quite a few Thai places, and this one is definitely authentic Thai. The atmosphere was cozy and service excellent as well. Will definitely stop here the next time we are heading through Sioux City!

Ordered spring rolls- didn’t come with peanut sauce but some kind of sweet sauce; ordered green curry and I got hot green spicy water, not even coconut flavored! It also tasted as of they used fish sauce!! What gives with the restaurants here?

I am very disappointed in the man who has hung up me twice after explaining to him the order was wrong and was delayed an additional 20min for original order. The food was still hot, however it came with no forks to eat with and the kids noodles were plain with no sauce. We order all the time from different Thai cuisine and Chinese…and never experienced the service we received. I tried asking for them to make it correctly and send back put at 8:26pm. He stated they were closed, yet online states 9pm, that the kitchen was closed. My kiddos will not eat their food but instead eats mine. This is completely unacceptable and connected the delivery company to remove them from their list of restaurants. When the gentleman pulls the language barrier to ends the call…it’s very rude. I would like to have my children’s food refunded and we will order elsewhere again this evening!! My entree only had 3 pieces of chicken too.

BEST CHICKEN & SHRIMP FRIED RICE IN TOWN. Everything is homemade and fresh so it definitely shows in every dish they create. I love love love their fresh crab Rangoons and the sauce that comes with it is EXQUISITE. I’ve been coming here for years and so happy I did. Every time tastes like the first. It just gets better and better. Everybody is so welcoming and super nice.

A diamond in the rough. It’s located a bit out of the way, but it’s worth venturing to! The menu is extensive. A lot of the dishes can be prepared as vegetarian. I had the ginger salmon and fried bananas with ice cream. Both of the dishes that I ordered were fantastic! This place is most definitely worth stopping by to check out!
