Excellent. Craved a good steak. Greeted with a relish tray. Ordered an appetizer of mushrooms, they were hot and flavorful. Got 2 side salads that came with bread. The steak was perfectly cooked and came with a side. I got the baked potato. Finished with a Creme Brulee. They had homemade horseradish sauce. Nice place. Did not order but the shrimp cocktail and fish options looked great. Fireplace going with lights around. Wood cabin with large bar and TVs. Definitely will return when in town or near it.

Still medium rare . It’s a small town experience. I didn’t come here expecting the world’s greatest steak. I knew it was going to be a hit or miss. The prices are cheap for the amount of food you get. It made for a great after sledding meal with my kids.

Oh, I ventured in to this side of the road saloon, like attraction with a group of women that I was meeting for the first time, and this wonderful restaurant was the background and setting for a wonderful evening with these women. The food was very well prepared to your taste. They had live country style music played by loan guitarist. As the air filled with country music, delicious frivolous smells seared fresh off the grill, laughter, and even some tears as a sad country song had just been played. We tipped the musician we tip tipped our waitress and we said good night to a wonderful evening of memories from Diamond Point Shadows establishment.

Reminded me of the steakhouse where I used to work (and where I met my wife). My rib eye steak was excellent. The only negative was the appetizers were a little overcooked. The service was great, everyone was very friendly. I will definitely return while visiting Payson.

Old school dining at its best! As a first time visitor we were excited to finally try eating here after passing it a million times up and down the mountain. It’s just what you would expect, a nice large bar and dining room with a warm atmosphere of country ranch decor and fireplace. Lots of booths and center tables. Service was prompt and on point. From the relish tray and crackers app to the warm bread with whipped butter packs and fresh dinner salads served with cheese crumbles. Drinks were perfect and dinner steaks were juicy and tender. Everyone around seemed to enjoy their meals and although there were some children it was fine due to the table spacing. We enjoyed it so much we will definitely be back or cry that we can’t when we pass by.

I’ve been to this establishment a number of times and can honestly say the food, service, ambiance, and staff are top-notch. I took the time to read some of the reviews before leaving my own and can say from multiple experiences the negative ones are pretty bogus and misleading.

A chill location for a great steak or seafood. Everyone was super friendly, and the food was very good. We had the fillet and the lamb. Yum! The shrimp cocktail was fresh and delicious as well. There is a full bar, and they have been open for 60 years! We had been to a different steakhouse the previous night and was very disappointed, but Diamond Point made up for it. It will be our new go-to steakhouse when in Payson.
