I order the Shoyu shi and Hawaiian ahi and bast musubi and Mai Tai shave ice nonalcoholic. The food is amazing just a minor detail that wasn’t good was one of the Ahi fish inside the Shoyu shi bowl was still frozen inside. Other than that, food was bomb! Very pricy. $26 for one bowl but you’ll have leftovers for when you get hungry again.

Grocery outlet/ indoor dinning area to eat. One stop shop to get your food, quick bite to eat with their premade snacks or purchase sauce to cook with at home.

First time come here on a Saturday lunchtime, putting the name on the waiting list and waited for almost 2 hours. The environment is pretty simple and delightful. Ordered a steak, sesame muffin and also appetizer muffin. Everything was so delicious and super super presentable. Totally worth the two hour wait. We were so blown away by how beautiful and tasty the food was.

Went there for the shave ice only and it was absolutely perfect. Have been looking for one since I had it in maui, this came super close. We had the diamond special with the topping, I did not think the topping were great. But the base icecream (lychee) is super and so is the shave ice! Cute little grocery store for hawaiian stuff as well. Overall very pleasing experience.

Pro Tip: know that they automatically charge 15% tip and each dish is expensive and the plates are huge.

A hidden gem! The restaurant is not too noticeable from the street. The interior, while spacious, feels a bit unfinished and homey.

Really good brunch spot! It gets very, very crowded, so I recommend getting there early. We waiting for about 45 min to 1 hour.

We got the loco Moco (very standard with thick hamburger patty) and the bbq chicken plate (grilled and slightly crispy, best when eaten fresh). While the price seems high, the food amount is insane! My brother and I agreed one dish can easily feed two people. We loved the available masubis and shaved ice options and we agreed we would def come back to try more. The options in the trade shop are great and very fairly priced. If you have a chance to stop by and are craving Hawaiian food this is a good spot.

Arrive early (7am) and put your name on the waiting list. Restaurant opens at 9 am. If you are not present when they call your name you will be dropped. Food is excellent and portions are generous. I would recommend going with a group of 4 to try a bit of everything. Menus change monthly. Everything looked aesthetically appealing and everything tasted delicious. Recommendations: Kimchee Omorice, Kahlua pork loco Moco, mochi pancakes, fried chicken and japotatoes. Happy eating. Oh and if they have the devil’s spicy fried chicken on the menu, get it! I missed out on that menu.
