I had probably the most perfect baby back ribs. My wife had a brisket sandwich so moist, so perfect. Basically it was just plain perfect. And the sweet potato fries, crispy on the outside, so smooth on the inside. Love the old mine feel.

Always has decent food, get a longer wait then other places for service. Sometimes worth it….Nope food not worth it. Service plain sucks wether they busy or slow. Originally gave 4 stars until I went there today. Horrible bartender service and it was dead. Not worth the wait

I took my wife here for the first time and we enjoyed the visit. We ordered the two meat combo and got the tritip and sausage two sides. It was good. Not the best but worth the money. Our waitress was very friendly and answered all of my questions. She gets a five star! The bar theme was weird and the parking lot, as well as the slightly steep road to it was not plowed at all!

Worst restraunt experience I’ve ever had. Not only did it take almost 45 minutes to get our food but when we did get it, it was cold. I ordered the special “prime rib and shrimp”. I ordered my steak medium, it came out rare, with no flavor at all even. The breaded shrimp was cold and dried out and the cocktail sauce for my shrimp was frozen. The waitress did ask if I wanted my steak recooked, but by this point I was fed up and over it so I declined. My wife ordered a hamburger and the meat was rancid. She could not eat any of it. When it was all said and done they still charged 89 dollars for a special and 3 hamburgers! This place has become a joke, I used to love eating here when the business actually took pride in it’s BBQ and it’s food. I would not recommend to anyone nor would I feed their food to my dog.

You know… the food is really good. But their service is the worst service in Elko. We stand at the door to be seated for over 5 minutes, our drink order doesn’t take long and neither does placing our order. But seriously it took over 10 minutes to get silverware, over an hour to get out food which wasn’t even that hot and then another 10 minutes to get napkins. We rarely ever go there because of this reason. You seriously need to get it together over there. Oh and turn your heat on in the winter…. Christ we froze sitting there while we waited and waited and waited.

service is worst at best. nothing has changed in the year we have stayed away. waitress had to come back multiple times to verify the order, appetizer was brought after food was served. sides that came with food were never brought. salad plate was stared at until I moved it so she could set down my plate. the burgers are great but not enough to look past the service.

This place is more miss than hit. 5th time here and this was by far the worst. Never got our salads with our entrees, staff forgot drinks, didn’t deliver all the guests their meals at the same time. One of us waited 5-10 minutes until we asked and another server brought it out.

I am a huge fan of good BBQ, and love some quality brisket, which is what I ordered. Well, when the meal came I immediately noticed that I was served dry tri-tip. When the waitress finally came back I advised her of the problem and she said “no, it brisket, they’re almost the same thing”. We all know thats not right.

This is my first time here and I will be back! The food is extremely Good, the service is great. Mariah is fantastic server and the restaurant is nice and clean. You can tell the owner and employees take pride in the restaurant.
