Hungry soldiers eat lunch, humble soldiers serve it! Amazing Biscuits in the AM

Wednesday’s are the best days for lunch at this DFAC. Soul food has it’s own date here EVERY Wednesday. Yes the line is usually long depending on the time you show up but for me the ox tails and greens are worth the wait. On this day there were actually leftovers for dinner and I was blessed with more than just the normal 2-3 oxtail serving size! Lol. Good eatin!!

Honestly it’s a great DFAC… you know, as far as DFACs go. Kept very clean, the staff decorates the place when appropriate, friendly, and great military rate food. Occasionally they offer homemade goods as well. Would definitely recommend over other Dining Facilities.

The food servers were very nice and the DFAC was very tidy, organized, and decorated. There’s a variety of foods suitable for any religion or whether you eat meat or not. There’s a salad bar, soup bar, and desserts. Unfortunately the cups may be bitter at times because they’re not properly washed. If I could, I’d give it a 4.5.

This is where everyone on post comes to eat. It’s standard military dining facility. Food selection is okay. They have a salad bar. The line during lunch gets long quickly since all of the students rush to go at the same time. If you go around 1200, it’s not as bad. Nothing beats the price!

They have 1 task: to feed the Soldiers. Sometimes they close at 8am. Sometimes at 8.30. Hours keep on changing. Why? No one knows. It’s a kind of a place that will serve you hard as nails French fries, mashed potatoes from powder with lumps still in it, or corn that wasn’t cooked at all. Simply they suck

One of the better DFACs but it can get crowded with AIT students. So get there early or later. Breakfast has made to order omelets and real eggs upon request

It is the best DFAC on Post. But definitely not the best DFAC I have eaten in across the army. This one is not full of AIT soldiers but some classes do come through here. Could have a bigger selection of take away snacks and better selection of breakfast cereals. Please for the love of pete get rid of the fake bacon and just give us real bacon and sausage every morning. Inlets and scrambled egg grill.could.use.much improvement gave up after the third try.

Terribly crowded most days. It can be calling to get in line and see fifteen people from a visiting unit stream past, having been waved through while the locals have to present ID and meal cards.

Terribly over crowded due to bad planning on hours. Sub par portion sizes with no chance of extras. Staff can be nice one day and rude another. Vegan options are nearly non existent.
