Stopped in here while staying at local hotel. The food came out very quickly. The food was just so so. I asked the waitress brisket or pulled pork. She recommended brisket. Brisket could of have a bit more flavor but was tender. Fries were ok. Slaw was so so. Again, all in all so so dinner. If I’m area again I probably won’t eat here.

Ordering was easy and fast. RestaurNt was pretty empty, but, was filling up when we were leaving. We got large rib dinner to split. Ribs were well seasoned, great smoke ring and flavor. Only issue was that they were very dry and tough. Cole slaw was cold, creamy and delicious. Fried okra was golden, crispy and hit. Would have liked a bit bigger serving on the sides.

As we arrived and checked in, the employees are very friendly and professional. This establishment is very clean. The food was delicious. I had a slab of ribs that were so tender that they just melt in your mouth like cotton candy. Very good food and definitely will return.

Decent smoke flavor on the ribs, but the lack of a flavorful bark necessitated the use of sauce. This isn’t normally too much of a problem, but the liquid smoke added to some of the sauces overpowered the real smoke flavor on the meat itself.

My wife and I went there for our 40th Wedding Anniversary today. We have eaten at several Dexter BBQ’s in the past. The side items we’re good and hot but the BBQ wasn’t warm. My wife didn’t tell me till I ate most of mine that she found a hair in hers. Most of her food was untouched. We told the manager about it and left. I think the manager would had reimbursed us but I ate most of mine. He was nice. Just wanted to leave. Kinda killed it for the mood.

Last time I went to the original Dexter’s was 2017 and the ribs were the very best ribs I ever had. I visited the Dexter’s in Farmington. I might as well have gone to Dave’s in any city USA. The ribs, as compared to 2017, were not as good. Seemed a little dry and salty. It just didn’t seem as good as before, that’s all.

Went there the other night and got pork steaks. They tasted like they were literally cooked in a camp fire and left to sit in the ashes before serving. I get it is supposed to have a smoked taste, but this literally tasted like a person smells after being by a fire all night. It was disgusting and we couldn’t even eat it. Very disappointed to spend $30 on a meal I couldn’t even eat.
