We loved everything about this restaurant. The food is amazing! It is pricey, but you get decent sized portions. We sat in the Biergarten & it was a quiet, private little area with beautiful flowers everywhere. We will absolutely be going back. The service was exceptional!

Absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was perfect and the food was amazing. This restaurant is easily one of the best I’ve been too. The flavors from the main course were unmatched. Very good service, the server was so kind and knowledgeable about the menu. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and it was all so delicious! A nice variety of German fair. They had air conditioned indoor seating as well as a beer garden. I would definitely eat here again!!

The best German food in town as far as I’m concerned. Made in house each day and authentic. Wide selection of German beer as well which is nice. Our server was new and, as such, was a bit slow and forgot our appetizer but that will improve I’m sure. It’s also a bit on the small size but that adds to its charm. It has daily chef specials and dessert done well – which is unusual. Recommended.

One of the best restaurants I’ve been to since I moved to Fredericksburg early 2020. The food was better than any German food I’ve had, even in Europe. It feels like I’m at home dining. Beer selection is great. If you love hearty German food and dark beer, this is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back!

My wife and I enjoyed lunch here recently and really enjoyed it. We split the brat sampler, a schnitzel, the cucumber and tomato salad and a couple of beers. All were great. If you like schnitzel we highly recommend it.
