We had the pleasure of eating lunch prepared by Chef Todd, “wow,” is putting it lightly. The best square pizza we have ever eaten. The freshness of the ingredients could be tasted in each bite, the crisp edges of the pepperoni and pizza had us wanting more. Top notch service and product. Highly recommend.

Absolutely phenomenal pizza hands down the best most authentic Detroit pizza in all of Florida let alone Cape Coral! Top quality ingredients and dough cooked perfectly great buttery crisp on the outside and sauce was amazing. 11/10 please try this pizza

Chef Todd is amazing! We called after they closed on a whim…Todd insisted he feed us and whipped up 2 of the best pizzas I have ever had! The detroit style is authentic and the sauce is to die for. Highly recommend!!!!

I’ve tried a lot of pizza places since moving here from Michigan. This was definitely one of the best. The pizza was perfectly cooked and flavorful with high quality ingredients. The breadsticks were like if you asked for Little Caesars but make them gourmet. The garlic dipping sauce was so flavorful and delicious. The only thing that came close to the quality of food was the customer service we received. Chef Todd was fantastic. We spoke about Detroit and our hometowns and the pizza place up there that inspired him. He explained how the Hurricane has affected his business and now that I know, I am rooting for their comeback. If you haven’t tried this place yet, you don’t know what you’re missing. I look forward to going back and meeting Chef Todd’s father who shares the same name as me. Thanks for the wonderful food and an even better experience!

Best Detroit style pizza I’ve ever had! Delicious sauce, perfectly done crust and crispy (but not too crispy) pepperoni. Enjoyed every bite! Todd and his father were so friendly, helpful and gracious. We cannot wait to go back and will consider ourselves regulars from now on. HIGHLY recommend!

Detroit Pizza Joint is amazing. Chef Todd has truly mastered one of the all time old style pizza recipes of the Motor City. Anyone from the area knows there are 2 Detroit style pizza institutions and he has them beat. Typically I need to dress up a pizza slice with crushed pepper and parmesan cheese, but not this time. Everything brought back those fond memories and it was excellent. Todd and his father are great hosts and his enthusiasm and passion for what he does and the community is amazing. Hurry up and get there. You will not be disappointed!

Easily the best pizza place in the Cape. Coming from the north I know what good pizza is, and here in SWFL, this is the best around. Definitely would check it out. Gives you the small mom & pop atmosphere, with personable chef and his father, and the service is extremely personable while delivering quality food.
