It was my first time here a few days ago. It brings back great Midwest memories through classics such as the Detroit coney and, SUPERMAN ice cream. That flavor is hard to come by out here. The nostalgia I felt when I tasted the delicious mouthwatering trifecta of three flavors into one blend. I cried a little. Inner child healed. I came back today just to get some to take home!

Honestly, nothing to write home about. The buns were hard like when leave the bag open. The dogs weren’t fresh. Chili on dogs was decent. Service was subpar at best. Weinerschnitzel is waaaaaaay better.

This restaurant and the food is absolutely amazing! The crisp buttery bread from the Coney Grilled Burger had me at first bite! The made from scratch french fries along with the special Chipotle sauce you can taste the flavor in every bite. First time visitor, and it wasn’t bad! Was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. Food was pretty good, but a little over priced. The fries were slightly over cooked, but still had that fresh cut taste. Will come back when in the area.

I had driven by Detroit Coney Grill but never had stopped. I saw a free Coney Dog for signing up for my birthday in Facebook which I did. I ended up getting a reminder text that I hadn’t used the coupon so I jumped in my truck and drove to the one in Scottdale.

I ordered the Detroit Coneys and a Guinness with a shot of Kahlua from the bar and ate on the patio. I also ordered a plain Coney for my Service Dog. Both of us thought the dogs were tasty with a snap when bitten. The atmosphere was cool and covered with plenty of large screen TVs. The bartender and cook were friendly and accommodating and the patrons friendly. The bartender noticed I paid with a USAA card and kindly gave me a military discount! I noticed their ballpark had a Saguaro Cactus embroidered by the Detroit D and picked up one fir my Detroit buddy. I will be coming back again. Thank you.

This was good. I got the daily special (two Coney dogs and fries and a drink). Had some Faygo (you know I had to, it’s Detroit) which was delicious. The dogs were good, but not what I was feeling so that’s on me. And I forgot that they have tots so I got fries. That’s also on me. Need to go back and try it again, but it’s definitely worth going back. Great service and atmosphere.
