This place has been in San Mateo for a long term and serves up the same great variety of entrees, snacks and desserts as ever. The quality of food is generally fine but it’s the extensive menu that stands out. Good place to go for HK dessert. Hidden in an alley next to the garage so have to keep a lookout.

Pretty solid HK style dessert spot! Has all-the-fruit types of desserts and the more traditional not-too-sweet variety too. The decor inside is pretty cool – it feels like you’re sitting outside the shops of Hong Kong. Would come again to try something new! They also serve eggettes / egg waffles and savory snacks.

Decent HK-style dessert shop! Huge menu with lots of dessert (and food, if you want to have a meal here) options. Fairly inexpensive and the desserts aren’t too sweet. Kind of cramped, but places in HK would be cramped as well, so perhaps they were trying to create that atmosphere. Overall, had a good time and I’m definitely coming back!

Large selection of desserts. Steamed eggs are good. Black sesame is very good. Popcorn chicken is awesome.

I have been going here for the last six years and it never ceases to disappoint. With crepes, traditional Chinese desserts, and food shaped like other food (they have a dish of “sashimi” made from fruit and tiramisu that looks like a potted plant), it is an amazing place to go. The servers there are all very friendly and will also help explain anything on the menu and all the ingredients.

Huge menu of desserts and savory items. Have only tried the desserts but they are very good. Price point may be higher than some of their competitors, but the service is great, and they stay open later than most dessert places these days. Last but critical change to note: they finally take credit cards.

Went there with a few friends, so got to try a little bit of everything. The hot Hong Kong milk tea with condensed milk was suuuuuper good, creamy, comforting, and not too sweet. The tapioca milk tea was a bit too sweet for me, but it had a nice brown sugar flavor. The strawberry tea tasted like candy, which my friend loved. The garlic noodles were good, but our favorite noodle dish was the Tokyo stir fried noodles. They were sooo good, savory, a bit sweet, and wonderfully umami. We also tried the mango chicken rice and the spam and egg rice, and liked them both a lot. The rice dishes came in a bigger serving size than the noodle dishes. The desserts were gorgeous and tasty. We especially liked the ice cream dishes, and the stars of the milky way. Our server was really cool. He was friendly and helpful, and we had a nice conversation. The atmosphere was casual and cozy, and the ceiling and walls were covered by murals, which was pretty cool.
