I like the guy that owns the place and does the cooking. He also had a very nice young lady working for him at the register. Food was on point, based on my experience with our Indian neighbors who cook for us all the time. Especially the naan, very good! Definitely a great place to get a relatively inexpensive meal if you like Indian food and you’re staying in Waikiki.

As an Indian traveling to Hawaii, I expected to be disappointed with Indian food here, but it turns out this restaurant in Honolulu makes food just like at home. It’s so nice to have great Indian food so far away. Service was great too, the table was clean and the cook was nice but the food was fabulous .

I ate at this restaurant while on vacation in Hawaii. The restaurant is walking distance from Waikiki beach. I had the Goa Shrimp Curry and I don’t think I have ever had that many shrimps in the dish at any other restaurant. It was a very generous portion of shrimps and tasted really good. My kids and wife had butter chicken and Dal Makhni which they enjoyed very much as well. The owners are very friendly and nice as well. If I visit Hawaii again I will surely make sure to come visit this hidden gem again.

Visited this place on a whim after boyfriend researched the restaurant for a light meal. It’s supposedly a new food court near an alleyway, and if we didn’t see the restaurant name flags atop the building, we would not have known, passing by. And boy, did the curries surprise us (and stuff us)! He had the lentil curry and I had the mayor’s vegetable curry – flavor bombs from each dish! My favorite has to be the vegetable curry though, as I love creamy tomato curries. The garlic basil butter naan was fluffy and crispy, perfect with our curries, and the usual basmati rice was good. The only thing that needs improvement is the mango lassi that I ordered. Great mango taste but it was luke warm. Needs ice to be served with it. Service was fast and friendly, food was presented well, and there wasn’t many people during our time there, so lots of seating to choose from. There are other food establishments to try, so happy eating!

A nice little gem in the Waikiki area if you are looking for an Indian option. The owner personally takes care of the order and serves you everything fresh. A must-try Indian restaurant.

Friendly staff and yummy food if you looking for something quick with good taste try the Desi’s Indian Curry. 3 days we were in Honolulu we ate there 2x we ordered mostly vegetarian dishes and they were delicious. Even though they were going to close soon they took our tea order after hearing how much we needed lol. Definitely worth trying.

Authentic Indian cuisine in the heart of Waikiki. Located in between seaside and royal Hawaiian ave. Best butter chicken with fresh nan. Broke the mouth. Two thumbs up bra.

Delicious food that is not your traditional Indian restaurant experience. It’s in a food court so everything is paper plates and bowls (I’m not used to that lol). The Mango Lassi was different, but still good(it didn’t have that hint of sourness it usually does). The Butter Chicken was good but I’ve never had jalapeños in it(chopped). The Basil Garlic Naan was my favorite-it was crispy but warm(so when I finished the second half at the end of my meal, it was warm). I went around 630 and it wasn’t busy, and when I left around 7 there were more people but not busy
