Small cozy restaurant with very good food! Ordered the rui maachayr kalia (traditional fried fish with sauce) and chicken 65. It’s cooked to order so it takes a bit of time to get the food. The waiter was very nice and friendly. I’d suggest ordering a vegetable dish as well. The food comes with a large platter of rice. At the end of the meal they give complimentary rice pudding which was cold and very good. I think it does contain coconut shreds for those who may be allergic.

The food was pretty good considering we have never had this cuisine before. The service was just so so slow. I don’t know if it’s short staff or what but it felt like an eternity. The one waiter we saw working was really nice. The older man who may be a delivery driver was not welcoming at all. I enjoyed the food but not the experience.

DESHI is our go-to Indian/Bangladeshi food. The service is great and the food is even better. We’ve been going here regularly for nearly a year and a half and have loved it every time. A huge plus is their delivery throughout the night and how friendly the service is. Our favorite foods are the Coconut Lamb Curry and the butter chicken! Plus, the garlic naan is great and a must! Great place for take-out and dine-in with their new sitting area.

The seasoning chicken legs with was pretty great. And nice experience when we arrived there in a late night. Really decent taste.

The food is always amazing! The staff is super friendly and the hours are great! Open late and is the perfect late night meal. Can not recommend this place enough! If I’m getting takeout 9 out of 10 times I’m going to Deshi Street!

We went in with a lot of expectations but it did not meet them.

Got the fish samosas and mixed appetizer platter. The spicing was divine but the breading was too heavy/big to even get to the meat content. I paid $3.99 for the two fish samosas and $4.99 for the mixed appetizer platter. Pretty tasty.

Don’t let the no frills decor fool you- this place is a gem. They’re the only place in atl open late (4am!) serving good food for every palate and diet/lifestyle. Very small family-owned restaurant, it makes sense their kitchen gets backed up sometimes ¯_(ツ)_/¯ My friends and I come here often on holidays (thanksgiving, Xmas, 4th of July) bc they’re always a reliable place for good food on days when nothing else is open. The interior decoration needs a makeover but who cares – we’re here for the food!

Do not come here!!! 65 U restaurant health and safety rating. That means it’s extremely unsanitary. The mutton biryani smelled and tasted like straight toilet water, no joke. The smell was nauseating I couldn’t eat it. Paneer tikka masala had too much food coloring, was sweet, and simple didn’t taste normal. Saw an article that said their cooler ran hot, probably means the meat is spoiled and who knows what else. For safety reasons don’t go here. The food also took far too long to come even though we were one of the only ones there. Honestly worried about food poisoning, we barely touched the food yet out
