This place doesn’t look like much when you walk past it but it is definitely a hidden gem. Ordered the small personal pizza. Great job keeping the crust thin. Pizza was cooked perfect, nice crunch. Brittany, our server, is awesome! Always pleasantly satisfied with my experience. Next time you are near Tierra Verde, give them a try.

Pizza, garlic knots, fresh bread, and the salad were all outstanding. We arrived right at opening, and the staff were already hard at work. The waitress was attentive and service was great. We were staying at Ft De Soto and decided to bike here for lunch. Glad we did – it was great!

After going to the beach we found this hidden gem! Cute, small super friendly staff and great food! I had the baked ziti and a side salad. The homemade Italian dressing was so good! My husband got the veggie pizza and daughter the cheese pizza!!! All were so fresh and flavorful. Will definitely go there again if in the area ( location is 1hr30 minutes away from me)

After months of looking we found our pizza unicorn. DeRusso’s Pizzeria Terra Verde, FL. We’ve tried at least a dozen places. Marco’s crew has it down pat. By far the best pizza anywhere near the St. Pete area. We even ordered two pizza’s to make sure.

Amazing! My son and I were driving around Ft. Desoto and decided to stop in for lunch. We’ve been checking out different pizza restaurants for the best tasting pie around. Even though we live 1 hour away, we will be back! The white pizza with garlic butter, fresh tomatoes, basil and delicious cheeses was our choice. We also ate the delightful nut icecream and even took some cannoli home! Thank you for our delicious food, on point service and wonderful memories.

The pizza and garlic knots were amazing! We picked up the pizza and two of the three pizzas were correct however, the third was not. They corrected the third pizza delivered it and the delivery driver nearly had an accident so the pizza was sort of a mess. He called his boss, Sal instructed him to come back and get another pizza to replace that one. The one thing this says about this pizza place is that they will make it right no matter what! Unfortunately, this is a dying business practice, but thank God Sal is teaching these people the right way.

After looking for a nearby place to eat from the beach, we decided to try this place out, because I knew my wife and I would agree on it. After checking out the website and reading the story, I was convinced this place was going to be good. I’m happy to say I was not wrong. The pizza was great, but what really hit it out of the park was the garlic knots. Those are probably the best garlic knots I’ve ever had. I think every time in the area, we’ll plan to be back!
