Really great little burger and ice cream stand. You can tell it’s been around for a while. It keeps all the allure of a classic stand, but isn’t run down or neglected at all. Awesome food, even though (or possibly because) it is a very small menu. Lots of picnic tables for sitting.

This place brings back many memories as a kid. Well kept up today. Takes you back in time. Always great soft serve, but great hamburgers & precious & shrimp on Friday. Amazing perch. Easy access from Highway and plenty of parking in lot and street. Nice outdoor setting with with picnic tables. Looking for a meal or a treat going to or from door county, this is it. Great friendly service as well.

Basically a dairy queen without the franchising. Good sweet treats. Outdoor seating only but shaded and plenty of picnic benches. Middle of the road pricing. Got way more than expected (small was basically a large) but that’s likely because of a newer employee and may not be typical.

Generous ice cream portions, the kids manning the shack are hardworking, courteous, and quick. Be prepared for a line, especially near closing time. Calling your order in is an option. There are several picnic tables to eat at.

Been going there for years. This year is different. The prices went up. The food & service went down. They made a mistake on 5 different orders while I was waiting in line to order. They asked me if I wanted my drinks before the meal. I said yes and didn’t get them and the person giving me the food didn’t know I didn’t get them. So when I was given my 2 large drinks they were in 2 noticeably different size glasses and they were packed with ice!. We orded 3 onion rings at $5 each! Then were given only 2. One of the 2 orders was only half full! Went back to get the missing order and they wouldn’t give it to us. They said they would give us the missing order than made stand and then not give it to us! The double cheese burgers were $9.98 each. Tomato & lettus were an upcharge of .75 for each item. The burgers were very dry and very small. With no catchup or mustard on them. No onions either. $55 for nothing! Had to go somewhere else and eat more for because the portions were so small we were all still hungry. This place is an expensive joke now.

Oh I love these kids of places! Off the beaten path a little but food was amazing. I had their burger which had a great flavor and the bun was baked with butter? Maybe garlic?? Not sure but was awesome! Cheese curds and fries are a joy. Price, just right
