Designed as a 60s-inspired restaurant, The Depot Diner is located on Table Rock Lake in Golden, MO. Situated next to the Hangar at Point 25 and only 200 feet from a renovated runway, it’s a fun spot to grab a great meal with your friends and neighbors.

Wow. Just wow. Finally got a chance to eat here as our schedule typically conflicts with their open hours. Folks were smiling as we entered, (good sign), place is a fantastic recreation of a diner/train car feel, (another good sign), server, the owner’s daughter, was a superb server. My daughter and I are here for the first time last night, and we will definitely be back with friends and family next time we are down here. The chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken meals were absolutely delicious—not your typical “cooked from frozen” premade you find other places. Service was great and very friendly. Perhaps what blew us away the most was how clean everything was! It’s such a cute atmosphere with the exposed kitchen, and it was absolutely gleaming and spotless. The outdoor seating looked inviting as well.

Food was awesome! Love the atmosphere. Very clean and orderly. Our waitress was a young lady getting ready to head off to college. She was very social able and we never had to ask for anything. Was very impressed by that. Would recommend to anybody!

I never give reviews, ever. But I had to here. We had gotten down here to our camp spot late and were starving, I didn’t feel like firing up the grill. I saw they were open till 8:00, it was 20 till, we went in and asked if it was too late to get a burger and fries, they were like heck no, come on in! All smiles, like it was no big deal! Wow!! Now let me tell ya, that was literally one of the best burgers we’ve ever had when eating out!!! Seriously!!! They even let us do a sit down and eat rather than take it to go!! And one of the cooks actually asked if everything tasted alright!! Heck ya it did!!! If you have a chance to go there, DO IT!!! Also they were cleaning the grill, kitchen etc, and my husband says they are cleaning it pristine! Yes, the whole place was pristine!! Man, what an unexpected, wonderful experience!!! Thanks y’all!! Stopped in for lunch with friends and was pleasantly surprised. The place is very clean and well sat up although small it has an outside dining area. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food. No wine or beer. Food was well prepared and quick. Will definitely be back next time I am in the area.

Me and my daughter found this place looking for something new , and we where so impressed. Good fresh food ,clean atmosphere. And Great Service . Coffee is yummy and food cooked on point . They have little Vacation cottages right on the air strip . A must check out .
