Deno’s Pizzeria has been a landmark in the Lake Grove neighborhood of Lake Oswego since the early 1980’s and has been locally owned and operated by the Valentine family since 1997. Our family has raised our children in Lake Oswego and there are currently 3 generations working here.

The staff are nice, the ambience is pleasant enough, but the pizza is not very good and it seems to have been getting more bland as time goes on. Too light on sauce and toppings generally, not well seasoned.

Literally the worst pizza. It does not have ANY flavor. And after I ate one bite of this pizza I let her know it wasn’t good and she just looked at me with a blank look on her face and gave me a box !! So yea we won’t ever be back! And I wouldn’t recommend it if you like any kind of flavor in your food!

Nice little local spot with Za by the slice but the price is pretty high for what it is. At $4/slice this certainly isn’t the typical price I’m to or think we should be paying. The sauce has flavor , crust isn’t bland , ingredients taste fresh. But other than that it’s just a regular old pizza parlor in a nicer suburb.

I’ve been here multiple times and have never been disappointed. That’s why I recently hosted a party at Deno’s. We had 17 people and they were very accommodating. I called in the order a few hours in advance. They helped me set the tables up how I wanted to configure them (we basically took over the whole restaurant). The pizza, salad, and calzones were all excellent. They have a small selection of beer and wine and it was all good. The staff was helpful and attentive without being intrusive. Thank you!
