I’ve been so excited to try Della Porta since it opened last month! The whole dining experience did not disappoint. For starters we shared the caprese with burrata and sweet tomatoes. Then for dinner I had the pasta bolognese. Both were out of this world! I highly recommend trying this place out.

Della Porta is an excellent addition to the Door County dining scene. We love Italian food and seek out the best Italian restaurants wherever we travel in the US, and Della Porta at the very top of our list. Both the pasta and pizza are among the very best we’ve found anywhere. We’re thrilled they’ve taken up residence in Ellison Bay!

I’m giving 5 stars because the food was that good! Our service was very sub par. We had to ask for more water constantly and we didn’t feel very taken care of by our waitress. However, the food is incredible and made up for the lack of service. Sitting inside be aware that it’s hard to here as there is nothing absorbing the sound inside. We will definitely sit outside next time we go! It’s pricey so be aware of that!
