Just did delivery for dinner & it was quick, easy to order on uber eats & arrived piping hot as if I was there eating it! Food is delicious, onion rings were perfectly crispy & pizza cooked to perfection with the right amount of toppings (garlic, meatball & onion)! Best food in this area! Have NEVER had a thing I don’t like from these guys, added bonus always service with a smile!!

This place is awesome. Great prices for what you get. The food here is great. The owner said his pizza is New York style. Pizza crust is the best around as it’s not burnt or too dry. Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The grinders are fantastic, especially the steak bomb.

Just got a chicken cutlet with lettuce tomato mayo..by the time I ordered, grabbed a drink and paid, he said it was ready. It’s honestly one of the worst and colest sandwiches I’ve ever had. One bite and it went in the trash, wouldn’t even feed this to my dog

First let me say that the Deli make some amazing pizza at fantastic prices. The picture below is of the barbecue chicken pizza. It’s delicious. The staff are always friendly and cheerful. The place is well stocked with pre-made and general food items and prices are very reasonable. It’s also a very clean establishment.

This place is certainly a hole in the wall kind of place but it is also the local watering hole. If you live in East Haven you have eaten at “The Deli” and their food is the simply amazing. The best part is the prices right for the amount of food that you get!

Staff is friendly and helpfu as long as they don’t have to move: On several occasions I have left w my arms full of bags of ice, could barely carry them let alone open my car door, but no one even offered to help. They weren’t busy and there were plenty of staff available. Another time I ordered through an app and they didn’t ID me when I picked it up. They just said “Your order is over there”. So I grabbed it and left. 10 mins later they texted me and said I was missing half my order and I had to come back… THEN they card my brother who went in to grab the rest of the order! and they wouldn’t release it to him bc his name was not the one on the order… They certainly didn’t verify my identity or anything even remotely like that. I guess it was cool of them to let me know, even though I would have noticed.
