This food is straight up delicious. I can’t believe I didn’t know it existed in Bethesda. I will be back and try everything.. definitely get garlic naan and the paratha… also the fried cauliflower was banging the chicken specialty was also amazing… only smallest little complaint is that I like ice in my water

Found this gem of a place while driving home from DC after a trip. The food was awesome, but the excellent warm service made the experience even better. We liked our chicken kadhai and palak paneer; cocktails were very well done too.

Superb food with superb, friendly service! If you’re in the mood for curry served with a smile, Delhi Spice is the place for you! We started out with the delicious Aloo Tikki Chaat and Papri Chaat both of which transported us back to the streets of Delhi. If you like Indo-Chinese, then you must try the Gobi Lasooni which packs plenty of delectable flavors. For our main course, we had the Bhindi, the Baigan Bhartha and a wonderful Paneer Makhani, all of which went down smoothly with some very tasty Garlic Naan and Onion Kulcha. Even the side Onion Lacha salad was flavorfully dusted with spices! And the best part of the whole evening was the classic Indian hospitality. The staff are all super-friendly, and both the chefs came out and chatted with us. It truly felt like a place where “everybody knows your name!”

Great space, excellent service and fantastic food! Highly recommend dine-in. We enjoyed the craft G&T cocktails (turmeric, ginger and orange) and the chicken momos and Delhi wali papri chaat were amazing! The lamb vindaloo was fall-apart tender with serious spice (thank you!) while the shrimp Kerala curry was creamy and tender, a perfect foil. But the stand out for me was the saag paneer – amazing flavor but not overpowered by a heavy cream sauce. The owners of this great new gem in Bethesda know what they’re doing and I hope this place is around for years to come.

What a nice surprise Delhi Spice was! I went for the first time today with my friend and we were blown away by the quality of the food. We were fortunate enough to meet the chef, who is an owner, as well as Kumar, who is also an owner. They are both lovely. Kumar told us about his philosophy of his restaurant, which is to make quality, authentic and delicious Delhi food accessible to as many as they can handle :). Just a great place.

A wonderful dining experience! Great customer service and the food was even better. One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been to in my life. The garlic naan and mango lassi are amazing paired with the butter chicken. You can tell the owner pays attention to every detail and really do a great job. This is a wonderful place whether you’re looking for a delicious meal or if you’re taking somebody on a date! Perfect for all occasions. I would highly recommend! It is also priced very well and worth every dollar!

Very good restaurant with delicious food and the drinks were very good as well. I tried momos , cauliflower dish & parathas. All the food was absolutely amazing. They have a best momo in the town. The service was superb. Highly recommend. I will definitely go back.
