Cute place and the food came out quick. Excited to come back over the summer to sit outside on the patio. Tacos were decent but I’m hopeful they will be a little less dry during the next visit! Drinks are tasty.

Great atmosphere for friends and family to get a bite of Mexican food. Being vegan I didn’t have a lot of options on the menu but speaking with my wait staff was able to come up with a veggie burrito. But the rice is made with chicken so no rice for me. Tomatoes avocado black beans but no rice which made me sad but the drinks were delicious and strong we recommend getting a double of any signature drink lots worth the price. With 11 people eating and drinking the bill was 650 bucks.

Pleasantly surprised! Tasty Hibiscus margarita & delicious chicken sopes. The green salsa was on point spicy but tastefully delicious. First time here & yes I recommend.

A very diverse clientele and a great latin vibe. The appetizer’s are highly recommend. Not only are they tasful, but plenty for 2. I had the Carne Apache & Mixed Ceviche that was recommended by our server. Glad she recommended, it was real good and great presentation. Now, the Tacos and Burritos are pretty good, nothing different. But, I will say this. They give you lots meat with any order, my Shrimp taco and steak taco had lots of meat. Usually I can eat 4 tacos, here I only ate 2 due to how much meat they had. Now, I can’t forget their extensive selection of drinks they have. Not only are they well balance of alcohol, but they even ask if you like a single or double with your drink. The Paloma with double Tequila is exactly how a Paloma should taste. 5 Stars on their drinks and along with their staff this place is great for couples night. I do however recommend you get their early since it gets pretty packed. The 1½ hour table limit does help and plenty of time to eat and drink. Great place if you want great drinks and want to feel like King with their Staff.

Staff was super friendly, worked together to make sure everyone was serviced efficiently. Food came out quickly, served hot & was delicious. Ingredients were so very fresh. Drinks were amazing. Street parking is annoying but that’s Chicago for you. Overall a must experience atleast once.

Margarita and the red salsa were good. The chips were below average and the green salsa looked gooey. Guacamole was bland and lacked seasoning. When I received my chicken burrito, some pieces of chicken were hot and other pieces were completely cold. Overall, a disappointing experience.

ID is required upon entering. There is a 2 hour time limit if you get a table and no limit if you decide to sit in the bar. Waiter was beyond excellent! He was professional, charismatic, and very attentive. Food waiting time was impressive, could have been because it was within the first opening hour. The food was delicious!!! Tacos are fairly small compared to other Mexican restaurants but do have enough meat to fulfill you. The sopes are handmade and fresh. Drinks are a must in this place. Tried the horchata drink and was able to still taste that rice and cinnamon flavor amongst the rum. Menu is short, vegan friendly, and delicious! Highly recommend.

Got seated in never never land and with a cross section of two heaters on full blast and music so ridiculously loud it was near impossible to even hear my waiter talk much less have a conversation with my friends. The drinks were good but food was mediocre at best. My server was almost impossible to get a hold of. There are plenty of better restaurants in the area so skip this place.

Been here several times over the years and they never disappoint. They have a variety of margaritas to try. If you like sweet drinks, it’s for you. They have a full bar and kitchen, so there’s something for everything. They serve Mexican food here. I had the passion fruit margarita this visit, and it was nice. It’s in a busy area so parking can be a struggle at times.

First time at Del Toro and I really enjoyed it. Drinks were amazing, the food was delicious, the staff was nice and our server was super friendly. She was checking in with us multiple times and gave us helpful recommendations for drinks. I will definitely be coming back – their mazapán and abuelita drinks are the best! ❤️
