It was. Well. Different. The employees were lacking work ethic. They didn’t want to be working. The food was subpar. Even the bun on the burger just fell pieces crumbling. Everything was lacking in amount and size, especially sauce. Probably one of the most below average restaurants in terms of Del Taco we have been to.

Don’t let them know they forgot something on your item or they might retaliate and put so much its not edible on the item the”fix” for you. They need to train the cooking staff better and train the drive person to take the order correctly.

I grew up on Del Taco in California so happy there is a local restaurant. Food pretty much the same as what I am used to. However the last 2 times the drink machine has been out of order; they have to make your drink behind the counter. I like to mix my drinks and use my own insulated mug so I don’t like that arrangement.

I grew up with Del Taco locations near by, but the Lacey location is so lacking in quality and what use to be pride in product produced. Our last four visits have been let’s say, less than positive! My wife loved the taste of the new BBQ beef fries, and the taste of the new Funnel Cake fries as they were tasty and different. But my 10.00 Big Del Combo burrito was anything but! If the burrito was one inch in diameter, I’m being gracious. My Crunchatado tostadas came out with cold lumpy refried beans that would not even spread, and the lettuce was rusty and old. But in their defense, Del Taco classic tacos are hands down the best in the state of Washington, if only they would NOT load them in the bag laying flat crushing the shells and making it impossible to eat without a total mess or a fork. Tacos are supposed to be hand held food. If it weren’t for Taco Tuesday after I tell them Not to crush my taco’s I would give up on a 40+ year ritual. Please management teach your staff! I worked at a Del Taco In high school and have loved it forever. Your killing those memories.

I ordered on the app. When I arrived at the drive-thru I waited five minutes for someone to acknowledge me. I gave my name and waited probably another 5 minutes at the window (there was no other customer there besides me). When I was handed my order, she didn’t even say anything. It was awkward. And of course, without fail, the customized burrito was not correct). Del Taco feels like a place that employs people trying to knock out community service hours. I’m tired of this pattern of conduct from this Del Taco location and I’m afraid this is the last time I will ever patronize.

If I can give 0 stars I would. I came to the dining room about 8:40 PM and the doors were locked. The hours on the door says the dining room closes at 9:00PM. That place lies about their hours. I will not go to this Del Taco or any other Del Taco again. I don’t do business with those who are dishonest and who knows what else they are dishonest about. I’m very surprised that they haven’t gone out of business. My big advise is to AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

I really hope that one of these days soon I can actually write a good review about a restaurant that I’ve been to recently. I have come to this del Taco location many times as I deliver food and I have also eaten here before. I once again had a terrible experience as after standing in the lobby waiting for at least six to seven minutes while having multiple employees look me directly in the eye and then ignore me and go back to what they were doing without even acknowledging that I was there. I have also made sure to let the delivery applications that I work for know about the issues here and to make notes of it so that when they send other people here to pick up orders they understand why it’s going to take longer even though it shouldn’t.

Del Taco is way better than Taco Bell. Taco Bell is not even on the same planet as Del Taco. Del Taco’s tacos are way better, they have a lot more meat and cheese on them (I order them with no lettuce or tomato), and the meat and cheese is a million times better quality than Taco Bell’s. The quesadillas are outstanding at Del Taco. The taco sauces taste better too, the Del Inferno sauce is outstanding. Everything on the Del Taco menu is good, except their fake meat products, their Beyond Meat products, whereas in my opinion, nothing at Taco Bell is good, except for a colon cleanse.
