Shells sometimes have a gross and off taste to them, like they’re old or left under a heat lamp way too long. It starts to taste like a chemical taste, or plastic taste. Maybe it’s a scent of being left in the cardboard box under the heat lamp, plastic heat, but whatever it is it’s really awful. I’ve had nothing but issues here and Burger King. I’m not one to write reviews very often, but their tacos need fresh chicken (not hard or left out cold chicken, this is dangerous and I’ve been sick from here). Why I come back, I have zero idea. It’s convenient. And the food is cheap.

Customer service is always great…the food is great and budget-friendly. I like that they have fries with the combos…yummy crinklecut fries. I love the snack sizes, perfect for when you’re not sure what you want so you can get a little taste of everything…they even have mini shakes which are perfect for my 8 yr old who never finishes regular sized shakes!

This Del Taco has thefts working there. I went in Saturday 6/24/23 and paid with my debit card I paid $37.04 and today 6/24/23 they change my transaction to $74.08. This is incorrect. I have called the local authorities and filed a complaint with corporate.

I was absolutely stunned. This place is so professional compared to my old spot down near Roscoe and Woodman in the Van Nuys area which really went downhill and the last time I ate there I didn’t feel well. And we’ve complained to the owners before ante del Taco before about them. But these guys in antelope valley over I forget the exact crosses L and 40th or 35th we’re like a machine. I mean perfect. Courteous, professional, the manager mentioned a couple times what they’re waiting on for my order. The tables were being used which is always a good sign in my opinion when you go into any type of fast food joint or restaurant. That means the food is good. But night and day compared to their counterpart down in the Van Nuys area. Everything was perfect. The Van Nuys one I get soggy fries one time and then the next time they’re burnt. I’d come home and they didn’t put the three scoops of guacamole on. But this place everything went without a hitch and was perfect. I highly recommend this del Taco.
